yay ... there may actually be some play ... woot! major sched changes ... spreading out the singles matches on all their outer courts in hopes of finishing them ... which would be good -- but I can't believe that Marat or Sam is STILL the sched to play TWICE today (if weather holds that long) -- it's rained long enough that it'll be such a bigger ask of them ... wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen, so why even keep on the sched anyway? Even if the 2nd Rd match doesn't get finished it might not be a complete bad idea to start it anyway today (after suitable rest). Sort of 1,5 match a day kind of thing Edit: Never mind the above... I just remembered centre court has LIGHTS, so a full match could be played today anyway! Sorry, this rain delay has become so surreal my brain decided to take a nap... |

Well scoreboard shows Rafa vs J.Levine and Ferrer vs R. Ginepri. Still no Marat...

Sorry, this rain delay has become so surreal my brain decided to take a nap... the whole figuring out the schedule deal is not a job I would want to have, esp when having to deal with delays ... but what they figure out sometimes is bizarre  -- they took off a few doubles matches from the original sched, which include a guys who have singles matches to play -- totally understandable ... yet they keep Igor-Nikolay-Rafa-Tommy's doubles match even though all four of them have to play singles too, in addition to asking Marat or Sam to play two SINGLES matches *shrug* true, it would be nice to be able to catch up and stay on schedule than get way behind, but (if they play) they won't be getting near as long a rest as they would have ... boggles my mind sometime .... plus my brain's on overdrive with the switch from nothing to ACTION EVERYWHERE - LOL ;D |

Is there any broadcast for Marat's court? I can find only Nadal and Ferrer as far as my experience goes, the AMS feed only has two show courts - Center & Grandstand ... which is very unfortunate, especially now |

Yay!!!!!!!!!This is probably one of Marat's the fastest matches. I didn't even have enough time to get nervous, bite my nails or cross all fingers/toes/hair and HE'S WON IT!!!!!!!

Hi all! This is my first post and english isn't my first language so please forgive me any possible mistakes. I hope I'm at the right thread to just say how happy I am this Querrey deal is done and in only 1 hour or so ;D As for the schedule, if Simon gives as hard a time as Levine does to Nadal, maybe Marat won't get to play his second match today... |

The match didn't last long. Marat shouldn't be too tired given he is such a physical specimen.
And since he is so fiery now, maybe it's not so bad that he plays another match. Continue the momentum and confidence and cruise thru.....
Well, just my stupid 2 cents.

I totally agree, a second match in the same day doesn't look that bad anymore.
To be honest though, I so enjoy what Levine is doing and hope to have the same thing with Fed and Simon. It's always nice to see those guys being challenged!

Ok, my Big Pixie did it 6-3 6-3 ;D (well done) ... but is he going to be playing Stan the Man in the middle of the night then , GMT? Is a 3am stint beckoning? Damn. I only paid for a 24 hour pass at the ATP site last night ... this is costing me a fortune with my SKY package not delivering ... I have lost all track of what's happening now.  And I have a meeting to chair at 9am ...  Tactics. Ok. Stan the Man will be thinking about Wimbles where you blew him off court. Use that to your advantage from the start Big Yin, when he will be pretty vulnerable and tight. Think of the 10,000 fairies that are sitting up google-eyed viewing livestream ... it hurts on the old retina. And I need my beauty sleep. You need to double it with age ... ;D Focus, focus, focus. Loosen those big shoulders (has been noticed) and whack that ball. The new mature Marat is paying off big time. Thataboy!!! ;D We're really proud of you ... but don't get complacent.
