Aww, hope he gets more than half a dozen in the crowd. He performs better to an audience!
Good to know - only marginally - that Toronto gets crap weather too. Thought it was just a Scottish thing! Although, it's been quite nice today weatherwise. No thermals needed ...
Good luck Big Yin, there's 10,000 invisible fairies watching and shouting for you.
Just heading home now ... Thought I might have had some live tennis to watch. Damn.

As it is whoever wins already has to play 2 matches tomorrow and if they do not finish today, then it will be 2 matches tomorrow and 2 matches Friday. It's insane! It seems there is an indoor option for this match if the weather doesn't clear... Hang in there Marat.... try to stay cool

Ok, I know that the Big Yin and Sam have the only first round match still to play, but he has to focus on the fact that it also affects all the other guys after that match, not just him. I know our thoughts are with the Big Yin, but don't reinforce the negative thoughts for him. Others now have the same issue, albeit in the second. He's physically fit (very, judging by the last pics - shirtless are becoming a distraction from cyber coaching - wear a polo neck, Big Yin) - but he needs to stay mentally fit. If he has a mump that he has to play 2 matches more than once, he might as well hand over the first set every time. If he gets down on himself about the weather, his opponents will relish it and exploit it.
It's raining. Read a book Big Yin. Expand your mind. You can flex those big muscles (!) on court. Straight sets, no arsing about or pay the price for one or two stupid shots. Focus, and get the job done. A la Wimbles.
God I love saying that. LMAO.

yay ... there may actually be some play ... woot!
major sched changes ... spreading out the singles matches on all their outer courts in hopes of finishing them ... which would be good -- but I can't believe that Marat or Sam is STILL the sched to play TWICE today (if weather holds that long) -- it's rained long enough that it'll be such a bigger ask of them ... wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen, so why even keep on the sched anyway?
weird to go from nothing going on to so much going to happening at the same time ... madness ;D
