great! So now that it turned out that he achieved his goal, I'm hoping this will have a positive influence in his decision... I'm happy.

From the OS: 20 november Marat flew home to Moscow from Miami yesterday 19th November. He enjoyed his vacation. It isn't a lot but at least we know he's back home again. I think we will hear from him/his decision soon. Cross my fingers!

what kind of news is this? A special kind - the Marat OS kind ;D I'm being mean, I know, since I suppose they might be bombarded with questions about THE decision, so they just wanted to issue something...anything

Personally, I'm at least happy to know he's home safely. I would imagine he will make this decision while around friends/family, not sitting on a beach in S Florida.

I read on ATP.ru (with the help of google translate) that it is reported that Gumy is looking for a job.. Anyone know anything more? www.tennis.com: Leading candidates to replace Alberto Mancini as Argentine Davis Cup captain are Martin Jaite (David Nalbandian's coach), Hernan Gumy and Gabriel Markus (a former Nalbandian coach).

Marat in Valencia - although injured - glad to see he is there to work on his tennis till Australia! If he is as prepared as he was last year - should be a good open to the season!
