is french fries french? how does frog taste? Yeah French fries are french! ;D ;D The fries are coming from the North of France...and there are also, Belgian fries which are not bad at all... ;D ...hm...I only eat frog's legs...but don't like it much. It's a special taste..  They are cooking with garlic and sprinkled with parsley . They taste A BIT of chicken... ;D |

hey. i was just thinking about the riots and stuff in france. now i know that subject is kinda over - on the boards anyway.
BUT it occurred to me, why doesn't multicultralism work in europe? i don't think i can think of an example where it has really successfully worked on a large scale.
i know australia has problems with multicultralism, but it seems not nearly so bad as europe.
sigh. i suppose it comes from people trying to 'intergrate' other people into their own culture. i think here, when we gave up on that policy things got better. give them the options, maybe?
i think i am trying to keep my mind off babies - ignore my ramblings!

soo I stumbled over this cool french thread!! ;D ;D Have spent a lot of my holidays in France and I ADORE this country and the language( forgot a lot since I finished school) ;D ;D..Well at first I was a little bit shy in talking french because of the pronunciation(hard for non-french people) and I always think that people will start to laugh but then I had a try and I could order the food etc on my own. wohooo ;D ;D and if I didn´t know the words I said it in english..and people were ok with it. I think most (not all) of french people don´t like to talk in english because the pronunciation is tough for them because of their strong accent.. (heard an interview of Richard Gasquet on Davis Cup and also last year Wimbledon and it sound sooo sweet I really like the accent) I would like to visit Paris - think it´s a beautiful city!! Is it true that people don´t have to pay admission price for all the sightseeing things if they are under 18? It´s too late for me cause I´m 21 but I´m just curious ;D ;D How do you say: can you speak a little bit more slowly please? And I would like to know what french gouverment thinks about german chancellor Merkel? she is new, she is a woman... do they get along? Maybe one of the french guys here wants to answer ;D ;D love reese |
