I was in Paris at 14 on an exchange. My partner there was very ambitious, she always asked me a whole in the stomach about french-german translations But I liked Paris, My dream is to be back and visit the French Open then. I´ve heard, that the radios have to play a high percentage of french songs, is that true? Yes, french radios have to play a high percentage of french songs...they have to respect a quota... But many radios like NRJ,Europe2....are the sponsors of foreign artists.(Madonna, Maroon5, Ramstein...)

(right?) but i didn't understand how much so i was all like, en anglais? (that means in english right?!) and she just kept repeating in french and then moved onto the next customer! but i love the language it is so pretty! i am learning it at uni at the moment. i am in my first semester of beginners so when i say learning it...well i mean we are being told some words and phrases!! but it is beautiful! and france is beautiful! mum, dad, my bro and i did a tour of an area near the swiss apls where they make fantastic cheese. very nice! they name all of their cows! cute!

At least, they are happy to have tourists's money... But I guess, people won't come back in france after such a warm welcome. Good luck at uni mackiemad!

Elisabeth what is you opinion about the french quote for radiostations?

Elisabeth what is you opinion about the french quote for radiostations? Well, I really think that french radios play too much french songs.I understand that the french musical industry isn't good right now...but they shouldn't promote it as they do.The radios are very homogeneous...There are specific radios if you want to listen rock , pop ...etc...That's mean that if you listen a french radio , you'll listen the same song every 30 min. Very unpleasant.

I do listen german radio cos as I'm living in a border village and we can't listen a lot of french radios cos we don't pick up enought. ;D German radios are better than ours. Arte tv is interesting...They show many reports and give good information.I usually watch Arte when they show Russian reports or old films. But I admit that I wouldn't watch Arte the whole day cos it can be a bit boring as the program can be too serious. ;D

Hey Elisabeth. How do the french view us Brits coz if i remember Jacque and Tony has a spit of words. Both being idiots if u ask me. Well, I won't lie...Most of French people think that English are snob and mocking.(I guess we have the same image) But they also think that you have a great sens of humour. ;D ;D France and England have a strange "relationship". We used to be your enemies... ;D And, I guess french people didn't like that English's politiciens supported Bush's politic and his action in Irak. But since those horrible attacks in London, I really think that french people feel closer to your country . In general, french is a country which is withdrawing into oneself....
