The swimming has been good though, and yes Jules we got the beach volley here too......girls....but then my guys here enjoyed it.........wonder why I am sure they did not even know the score afterwards Me neither Yeah...well done, the race was great, in fact most of the swiming was really good. AND Iraq WON.....AND Puerto Rico beat the USA basketball team.........they still cant get over it ;D Too bad about TIM........the papers will prob crucify him today, and poor Mario went out to Tommy but I guess that was to be expected. The gym was good also Last night we got the Venus match........only looked at the very end and to see what the stadium looked like, it was pretty empty I must say.

I saw a little bit of teh roddick match and then the stadium was nearly empty as well. Well, girls, I saw the Venus & Roddick matches too and then the stadium was really empty, Dunno, holidays, too hot, more interesting matches on other courts, whatever other reason... But I must say that when Marat played in the evening session it wasn't that bad, there were pretty many people watching our habibi, they weren't that loud or anything though, I mean the real atmosphere was kinda missing, I guess it's because there were people who are not that familiar with tennis and were just visiting whatever olympic competitions they could (I heard there were people like that ;D). I hope it'll be better atmosphere during the next rounds.

I saw a little bit of teh roddick match and then the stadium was nearly empty as well. Not much surprise there... I did hear Marat say in his press conference about how the rates of the hotel have really gone up and that 's why fewer spectators are going.

is anybody else going...WOOHOO that the high and mighty US bball team got taught a thing or two by good ole puerto rico? I am! Although I feel bad a bit becuase I really like the US captain Tim Duncan, he's such a nice man and a great athlete so I feel for him in particular. I'm rooting for the Argentinian basketball team though, Ginobili is just so hot and exciting, haha. The Phils doesn't really produce Olympic-calibre athletes, but I'm still wishing that we can win in boxing and other martial arts, and also in women's archery. I can't wait for the athletics competitions, Romain Mesnil and Patrik Kristiansson will be competing in pole vault, and i'm just nuts about these guys. ;D

Well, I actually got to watch the women's trap shooting last night, and am still a bit puzzled on how they score but eventually figured out it's a cumulative score over the whole competition.
We still got swimming, swimming, and more swimming, plus endless replays, and views of empty stadiums.
There is some sly amusement at the Dream Team's loss but I am intrigued at Puerto Rico being allowed to compete as a separate nation. Puerto Rican's are US citizens, I have quite a few friends in PR!
Still looking for the final dressage results. We saw a whole half a test of the 3 tests last night. Nothing of the tennis, although apparently Scud crashed again.

Ehhh, they don't show any tennis in Polish TV . I thought they would at least show our doubles team, but they lost in the first round to Fedex and a guy whose name I don't remember, so I think it means no tennis at all. They show here only Polish athletes and because we don't have many good achievements so far, they show Otylia (swimmer) and Polish volleyball team all the time.... Well, I do not complain, coz even though I've seen the match Poland v Serbia&Montenegro already like six times (literaly!!) I can still watch it over and over ;D. But today we face Greece so finally something new BTW, I watched badminton yesterday and I thought the rules were almost the same as in tennis.... but I was so wrong!!! I don't get this game at all !!! Sometimes they count points and sometimes they not.......... weeeeeird..... can anybody explain this game to me.......?

You wouldn't want to believe it - not only have the US Dream Team, the Chinese Synchro Divers, and a few others bombed, Andrew fell off Mr Pracatan in the midle of the cross country course and collected himself 75 penalty points. I don't think he's up for his 4th Gold Medal in 4 Olympics, he will just have to be happy he got back on and completed the course. Then again, as Mr Stickybum Andrew UK also fell off on the same jump, there is still a long way to go in the Three Day Event.

Magda>>6 times?! wow, can't they show something else? even non Polish athletes? good to know you'll see something new ;D well, yeah sometimes they show some other athletes too... Polish TV broadcast the olympics from 7am till 1.30am so if they were showing only volleyball and swimming I would have seen that match already like 20 times . p.s. remember about the match on Thursday!!!
