Hi Damita, It happens in every jumping event. Poor Andrew looked like he hurt himself and was very slow to get up, so I'm more worried he has than losing the chance at number 4.

BTW, I watched badminton yesterday and I thought the rules were almost the same as in tennis.... but I was so wrong!!! I don't get this game at all !!! Sometimes they count points and sometimes they not.......... weeeeeird..... can anybody explain this game to me.......? HEY MAGSTER!!! basically, in badminton, u only gain a point if u win the point while it's on your serve. unlike tennis wich fcusses wuite a bit on the serve, in badminton, the serve's not that impt. so if u lose a point on ur serve, ur opponent gets to serve instead, bt doesn't get the point. and as i've said before, u only WIN A POINT IF IT"S WON ON YOUR SERVE!!!

You wouldn't want to believe it - not only have the US Dream Team, the Chinese Synchro Divers, and a few others bombed, Andrew fell off Mr Pracatan in the midle of the cross country course and collected himself 75 penalty points. I don't think he's up for his 4th Gold Medal in 4 Olympics, he will just have to be happy he got back on and completed the course. Then again, as Mr Stickybum Andrew UK also fell off on the same jump, there is still a long way to go in the Three Day Event. oh no......... that's tough luck... and why's the UK guy called stickybum?? anyway, RONALD WON!!!!!!!!!!!!! so he's off to the quarters!!!! but the girls table tennis doubles both lost. haven't checked the singles result yet. hope they do well. ronald's girlfriend plays today. ;D

I'm not having a good night. I just logged on to update a friend's web site and checked Marat's results. *sigh* Her bombed, too. Feliciano Lopez (Spain) beat 9-Marat Safin (Russia) 7-6 (7-4) 6-3.

Will do, Caroline, probably tonight. Sounds like while Andrew could not be famous for winning a hat trick in Australia (overseas he's far better known), he might well become famous for falling off. He and Prac are OK, just a couple of bruises. ;D
