WHAT'S thie ERICA ERICA thingy?? Erica Terpstra also was a professional swimmer, lots of years and kilo's ago *hehe*. Now she's sharewomen of the NOC NSF (dutch olympic committee) and she shows up everywhere holland plays (olympics or not), always wearing something orange. She's a bit like a mascotte, hahaha. |

Hi Damita, Yeah, at least that's what Bettina was so upset about - she knew she should be penalised when she did it. What is said to the Media and what really happens are often 2 different things, but they don't take the prize for bad sportsmanship, our women's 8 rowers have done that. We're stil not too sure whether one hit the wall or tanked - the women's 8 quite clearly think she tanked - but that's caused a bigger dust up here than the drug cheats.  On a good note, Jane Saville took out Bronze in the women's 20km walk. Jane is the one that was disqualified 600m from a Gold in Sydney. |
