What does it say about the women's game when a player comes back after 2 years - as a WC, in her 3rd tourney back - and beats them all? Who cares? GO KIM GO KIM!!! And little Jada is such a cutie! Despite the bizzare semis, still WOW to KIM!!! Very glad for her! PS: wondering whether my favorite Justine might consider coming back to the circuit as well?

If Justine does come back, they'll (Kimmy and her) dominate the WTA!! Hehe. Oh that's a dreammmm!!! Serena is going to face more punishment, reports say. They're thinking of banning her from all future Grand Slams...

Solid solid play from Del Potro. I was impressed and I don't even like the guy... I didn't watch Roger-Novak as I couldn't stay up any longer but am glad with the result ;D and finally WOOOOOHOOOOO KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a comeback!!! Go Roger!

Missed the women's final. Just had to get to bed. Might watch it tonight if I don't get home too late. If anyone missed Maestro's semi, check out You Tube in the next few days, if it's not already there ... someone will post this shot. Third set 6-5 and 30 love up. Noely lobs Maestro, he scurries to baseline and doesn't look as if he'll even reach it. He does ... and then hits the ball back between his legs ... and little does he know, it's a cross-court winner for matchpoint. LMAO. He deserves the title for that shot alone.
FG
PS Well done Kim.

I prefer Marat's volleys and dives though hahahaha Anyway I've been subscribing to news feeds on Maratik, and he's come up with an amazing 100+ articles just because his name is almost synonymous to foot faults... I thank Serena for that....I hate foot fault calls! The ATP and WTA should what, take out that rule. Next on: The US Open Men's final. It's gonna be midnight around here when they play, so most probably I'm asleep. I'll be bidding you adieu sometime later this morning as I'm working. Annie thanks for your permission. Please do visit my site after a month if you want. There's nothing on it currently hahaha:) I can't believe TGFR is closing down. Heheh. I need intervention.. ;D

Now that I did notice Djoko just stopped there dead on his tracks. He must've thought he'd already won.. Too bad!
Three cheers!
The roars were so loud and long I couldn't even hear the commentating!!!

Rafa Kimmy ;D ;D ;D Am I the only one who wants Del Potro to win? You're not alone my friend. I am on the half-half. I believe Del Potro deserves some credit. No offense to maryb and the Andy Murray fans out there, but I was sort of downed when Andy went down in a very unfashionable style. And it's Marin. I sorta took a long pause and reflect. Maybe after a year he'd regain those. But the most disappointing is Novak haha. Marat...not so much. Kinda used to it... So whoever wins is happy news for me.

Di, many people are on your side believe me. A lot of people find Roger boring, Annette, Denise and many more including...so you're a whole Del Potro support team...

Well I have never been one to get excited about Roger so Di yes if I support someone in the final it will be Del Potro - not that I will be getting excited about it. Even deciding whether I will even watch it LOL One last post - not that I have ever posted much. Cheers everyone - see you around and of course will be in contact with all those I personally have contact with. Nice knowing you

Well done Kimmy and Little Jada how adorable at the trophy presentation a little independent missy she is. Was a topsy turvy final - think conditions didnt help but it was the right result.
Im with Annie for this I dont like Del Pony i mean he is a heck of a player but he doesnt to me have the likeability factor - i still think what he said to Andy Murray in Rome last year - awfully disrespectful and i spose that is what makes my judgement. But Roger is Roger people - greatest of all time and 6 time US Open champion mark my word!

Still working on the Marat front even tho peopel are saying goodbye. Found an incerpt from Feds interview yday about how relaxed he is on court and mentions Marat. I think he is actually trying to give some advice to him LOL
But, of course, more importantly, you know, that things went well with Mirka and the two kids, going through that pregnancy having twins was not something that was that simple after all. I definitely feel I'm relaxed today, but still walking out on court, you always have the pressure, just because ‑‑ I mean, you speak to Marat Safin. It's his last year, he should have nothing to lose, and you cannot play freely sometimes still just because it's not that simple to just start pounding every ball. You know, that's not the goal here. You have to play smart
