unbelievable. Is this a davydenko forum or a Safin forum. some people on this forum, if they're true fans of Safin should believe that he can get back to his old form, and be in top 10 once again.

Tsonga won't play French Open PARIS (Reuters) - France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has pulled out of the French Open with a knee injury, French technical director Patrice Dominguez said on Saturday. The Australian Open finalist, who was seeded 14th, will undergo surgery on a broken meniscus on Tuesday morning. "(Tsonga's coach) Eric Winogradsky called me an hour ago to tell me that not only Jo was pulling out of the French Open but also that he would not avoid surgery," Dominguez told French radio RMC. Tsonga, who picked up the injury in March, took a month off to recover, but had to retire from the Casablanca Open on Friday after the injury reappeared.(source: uk.reuters.com/article/tennisNews/idUKL2437060720080524)

this is going tense guys!!!!!! Marat didn't yet show his best, but we don't know what he's gonna play now! and personnally, when I'm asked to compare, I believe that Marat's best is far away better than kolya's( or another), it's not a silly hope, it's just facts( though Marat didn't show that game for a while now!) keep it cool guys, you can have all rights to be optimistic and surely hope for the best and be ready for the worst!!!!!! hope he'll play monday morning, early (if possible) (this is to God's address!!!!)

he was almost at his best against berdych. just a step off the returns. and if he cuts the unforced errors and gets more first serves in, voila! you have the old Marat.

I also think that this is a forum to talk about Marat, but you can talk about every player here! And Davydenko is russian, so that´s fantastic! And we all have to be realistic about Marats tennis! I also believe every second in him, but there are a lot of other players who are playing on a higher level than he does! I wish Marat all the best for Marat and believe that he will play a great tennis!

He played better than many of the players, until the third round, where he went into a brain cramp.

was putting together a similar list of thoughts of my own, hehe ... *YaY James - no 0-9 1st rounders this year, we'll have at least 2 Drama from the get-go, with Carlos & Andy ... *Carlos: yikes -- lost to Schwank, who recently lost all his belongings (and recent challenger prize money) in a hotel fire: www.atptennis.com/1/en/2008news/fire.asp*Andy: yeesh, trouble much? and I didn't realize that he'd never won a match at RG before today (had Moya's 5th set on one channel, and Murray's 5th set on another channel ... that never happens ... to think how far they've come with their coverage ) *Guga: little hard to watch that one ... nice little presentation for him ... just want to give him a big hug -- gonna miss him and his cutie-pie smile and enthusiasm so much *After watching out for the ladies in Hamburg for a whole week, I find myself looking in that same corner, thinking I'd see somebody, LOL ;D Good stuff for Day Two -- should be fun ... and with today not being quite done, the question will be, will they all finish before it gets too dark??
