;D Hehehehhhhhhhhhhh LMAO , look like we have a branch of fortunate tellers here... nice to VOTE, but personally i would like to ask, how this vote acturally contribute Marat's REAL performance.... its nice to have good wishes, but i'd rather put hopes on that fact Marat gets the right mood and play well for each match, one at a time, than wasting my time on Deja vu style thinking lol ;D ;D ;D and Marat is unperdictable anyway, in Tatar, we have a folk tale saying that :if u can't perdict a particular person, he/she might be a bigger witch than ya, ie this person is smarter than u"...... maybe I can borrow Maryb's ( aka the fairy lady) fairy dust and send my best wishes Davai Marat and Udachi... Extremely sorry to hear that Zhenya failed to qualified... warm hugs my best wishes --to the love of fairy lady and lord safin-- to my country men/lady---Igor, Misha, Dima, Masha, Sveta. Elena, Nadia, etc... Davai!!!! ;D

And LOL about the poll ;D ;D ;D Who voted for the final? Some serious delusion is going on here! ;D Happy weekend everyone! And a wonderful Sunday start in Paris! since all votes past 2 round can be qualified as delusion, the final would be on the same delusion level as the QF ;D Thus, this could possibly be equated as: Qualifier x 1 racquet = 2nd round x focus x ability + delusion + fairy dust cubed + 6 racquets = 3rd round. By applying some pixie dust in round 3 and making a general allowance for 2 screams and 3 racquets, 4th round is feasible. From then on the equation becomes open to more margin for error. Hence - 4th round + focus x fairy dust - unforced errors + 12 net approaches ( ;D) = quarters x 1 racquet x self-belief x ability = semis x harem visit x 2 screams (from Big Yin, not harem) = final. At this point, fairy flies to Paris.

Marat is showing that he is getting his old form back. It is well within his ability to beat davydenko

Marat is showing that he is getting his old form back. It is well within his ability to beat davydenko If this match happens and Davydenko plays at least at 80% of his ability he'll comfortably beat Marat.

Marat isn't that bad. If Marat plays at close to his form he'll beat davydenko. Its not a huge unrealistic goal for him to beat davydenko. Eitther way, I think the match will go to five sets. It won't be a huge shock if Safin wins. he played at a very good level against berdych in hamburg.

Well voila...Koyla is now playing the decisive set against Monaco, who's really running him around. davydenko also accused some muscle cramps. I know we aren't supposed to be happy for someone else's bad luck but Davydenko's tiredness is one of the most important factors which might help Marat get past him. 62 26 and 11 now

Are we talking about Davydenko? Top 5 player for the last 4 years, one of the fastest and best clay court players in the world. Losing to him on clay doesn't mean being that bad.

yeah I know. losing to him isn't bad. But Marat winning against him isn't something so unrealistic. I mean stranger things have happened in tennis. Marat, if he plays at his best can beat davydenko

If Marat plays his current best and Davydenko plays average by his standard then Marat can win. Let's hope that 1. Marat will win 1 match. 2. Davydenko will be not at his best.

well, we don't know what Marat's "current best" is. I personally believe he played very well against berdych, pretty close to his old form. If he cuts out the unforced errors and serves better, he will be at his old form.

LMAO. Who knows, if both play well, they may bring out the best in each other - and we get a brill match. With a win for the Big Yin.
The Scottish Cup final is on at the moment. Rangers have only just scored to edge in front 3-2, despite being 2-0 at half-time.Rangers wage bill for the week, would probably be more than Queen of the South's for the year. 'Upsets' do happen in sport.Plus, the Big Yin plays better when he isn't expected to win.
Must be that stubborn streak. LMAO.
