The weather seemed better in Scotland today than in Paris.  Watched the 'game set and Mats' programme tonight and it was pretty blustery and some brollies had been on show earlier this afternoon. Hope the Big Yin ain't gonna have one of those days on Tuesday when the weather starts breaking up play.  It'll only make him start moaning and mumping. We need a positive head on those shoulders.  Novak certainly lost the plot on the overheads in his match. Every club player must have smiled at the errors and taken heart. ;D Guga appeared on 'game set and Mats'. Awww. Still a happy puppy. Andy - stop faffing around with that drop shot.  If it ain't working, by any means, don't keep doing it in the match. Eysseric is obviously one to watch for the future. Some lovely play from him - and he's been no 1 in the juniors. Promising outing for him. (Davis, you're too close to being a cradlesnatcher there ...) ;D Moya went out? Bugger - missed that one. I was out in the garden digging for most of the day. Accompanied by 'my robin'. He/she loves it when I chuck some worms at him/her. Brought one of his/her weans over as well at one point to be fed. Then I had to babysit. Roger not on Philippe Chatrier? It's a conspiracy!!! |

hey safin was practicing for 2 hours with Federer at noon today on court 14. there was a big crowd for the practice session.  |

he practiced with Nalbandian and then Federer. I think that should be good preparation for his second round match.  |

yuck - rain delay so far today: *Baghdatis out to Bolelli (not that surprising) *Coria took a set off Robredo (and apparently was lucky to get into the main draw when Roddick had to pull out) *Odesnik-Canas - another US boy wins a first rounder! - but almost 4 hrs to play 3 sets - yowza *Isner got up 2 sets on Chela (!!), lost the 3rd, and down a break in the 4th when the rains came *Richard woke up this morning with knee issues and had to pull out ?!!  Hope he can turn these issues around soon ... |

Ok Big Yin, don't start mumpin' about the weather. It's the same for the other guy. Irrespective of the fact that it's the best of 5, get out of the blocks pronto. Be aggressive - but keep the ball well in. Don't do anything risky - play safe, but thump that ball. PS The sun is shining in Scotland. ;D |

OK, lts Melbourne winter AKA rainy season, so Let me have all the rain, so everyone can enjoy Marat play today/ tonight (for some of u)  the oddest spot was Moya lost in 1st round AGAIN, how could that happen , Carlos.... heart breaking..., ;D So Marat. u better not disappoint me....... Davai boy..we all love u ! Ok PS The sun is shining in Scotland. ;D I would like to remember when was the last time i saw THE SUN in Melbourne?  Been ages that i saw it moved to our fairy lady's garden lol Let me have the rain all---sounded like the best pixie on earth with Lord Safin's love......So Marat can play in the sun.... I watch using the eurosport player: it's 4.9 euros per month, and it is a subscription to watch eurosport, but during RG you have the usual 5 court streams: player.eurosport.comhope it works for you as well. |
