Oh yeah!!!!! what a great final!!!! No disrespect to Fed, but I'm sure it will be a hell of a lot more exciting match with Nole vs Tsonga that if it had been Tsonga vs Fed ;D Allez Jo!! And for the girls, sorry Annie, but I'll go for your namesake on this one ;D Ajde Ana!!

Haloha, from cyber-ia! The computer, the i-pod, the kettle AND the washing machine packed in in the space of 7 days ... I have such an electrical surge around me ... sparky, that's me...I'm frightened to approach anything above 20 watts at the moment. ;D Only matches are safe. And I don't mean tennis ones - although judging by the last week, I may have had an influence. What a week! Maestro is oot!!! Although, much as I hate to say it, I wasn't surprised. Djokovic has been my tip for the next number one (I saw him play at Braehead in the Davis Cup, and he certainly showed promise) - get yer arse in gear Big Yin, you'd be my first choice ... and you're still capable). Djokovic consistently played Maestro's forehand today and the errors appeared. Maestro looked sluggish out there as well. He wasn't doing his usual balletic steps around the court. No harm to Novak, but I'd like to see Tsonga win. He makes me smile as he is so delighted to win a match (Big Yin take note ... show that it matters). But, I think Novak has the edge. Would be nice to see the 'underdog' win. On the women's final, I'd like to see Ana win, but I think it's likely that 'the grunt' will win. (I liked Maria first time round, why must she make so much damned irritating noise now?) PS Maestro v Tipsarevic? Wow. That was a real psychological battle. Bagpuss v Hewitt, damn. I wanted Baggy to win. Hewitt annoys me. His comments in the past have really wound me up.

WOW, huh? Both Men's and Women's finals are so exciting! There's really no telling who's gonna win... Good luck to them four! But i hope Nole wins... ;D I don't know who i'm rooting for bet. Maria and Ana, though...they kinda both deserves it... They both had tough roads to this finals...

Although I'm an Ana fan, I'm glad that Maria won, she totally bought me with her match against Justine! Fingers crossed for Nole

Congrats to Maria! ;D ;D She was clearly the better player in a decent final - I had feared a demolition of Ana after her Semi performance, but they both made it worthwhile to get up at 3:30 am Why can't the Ladies play at night, just like the guys? One thing, though: No matter how great Maria plays, she always annoys me with her extremely long preparation before EVERY serve, whether it's the first or the second. I can't believe she always gets away with it - even Novak got a time warning yesterday (by a clearly incompetent Pascal Maria - what's wrong with the guy lately ). Even Rafa pulling his pants is faster than the scream queen... LOL...I was ROTFLMAO when Novak impersonated Maria...Did you see it? He was right on! ;D Only thing i don't like about Maria though, is she's just so loud...there was like a sign that said "Quiet please Maria" ;D but, still, her determination is like no other... Anyway, congrats to Maria...that's one hell of a match she played. Congrats to Ana too, although she lost, she looks to be becoming No. 2 in the world.

Good to see 2 good finals. Well done to them both - though I would have loved to see Tsonga win. I still thought he might take it to a fifth right up to the end. Hopefully he stays injury free and shows what a good all-round player he is. (And he's very good at the net ... a man after my own heart).
