it rains in Melbourne?? haha ;D .... good thing there's two courts with roofs and I squarely blame AO & Andy's match for making me late for work -- decided to take a little nap since the match was long and late into the morning ..... yeah, no more naps for me in the middle of the day

I wake up 'cause I figure it'd be about time for Hewitt/Baghdatis ........... and Federer & Tipsarevic are still playing!!??!! 5 sets, 4+ hours ..... who would've thunk it?? Fed just prevailed 6-7 7-6 5-7 6-1 10-8 .... WoW... and Gonzo goes out to Cilic ... but thank goodness Blake climbed out of his hole -- and it's only the end of the first week?? ... and thanks aussiechick for the pics!!!

Fed v Janko was bloody amazing. Those are the only sorts of matches I like to watch Roger in cause he has to work for it and that's when you see his best tennis and really get a feel for the human being behind the machine Blake v Cilic should be very interesting because I was impressed with what I saw of Cilic. There's gonna be some amazing matches on tonight. I can't wait for Richie v Jo Wilfried. They're both in smashing form but I want Jo to win. Only becasue he's had such a hard time with injuries and this would be such a huge breakthrough for him. He deserves it, I think.

I can't believe it .... but Super Saturday CONTINUES with Lleyton and Marcos going to a 5th set -- and it's almost 4 AM Melbourne time amazing how thrilling the day was with play only on two courts .... (I'm also amazed that ESPN has kept showing the match, those commentators have gone straight through close to 14 hours .... they've gotten a lot better with their coverage since a couple years ago, when they would have went away, even if was still going)

Yeah, I have been very impressed with ESPN this year. Between them and The Tennis Channel, I don't think we've missed any of the really big matches and they've stuck with the second night session matches in a way they never used to. So fair play to them And Lleyton is an idiot. This match should be twice over by now.

Yep -- between the two channels it's pretty much on 24/7, which has been sweet ;D Doubly agree about Lleyton too .... unbelievable *shaking head* .... but the matches the past few days is why I love this game and am so addicted to it ;D

I was asking myself if Nalbandian would have to wait to Hewitt's match to end, so that we could play against JCFerrero! LOL Hewitt must be exaust!! I hope he beats Djokovic! And what happen to Grosjean? He was winning 4-1 in the 4th set! Incredible!!! What a shame, that Tipsarevic didn't win!

what an incredible match between Lleyton and Marcos and what a night!! Congrats to Lleyton!!
But ,Marcos, man, you have got to give him credit. After he twisted his ankle, he still fought till the end. The tears he shed when leaving the court was such a heart-breaking thing to watch.....I mean he trailed by 1-5 in the 4th set and you could tell he was trying so hard to hang in there with pain and fatigue and made it to the 5th set. That's the spirit !!
Well done, both players !! Hope Marcos can take it easy and keep showing us more exciting performance and best of luck to Lleyton with 4th round.
