I came across a Marat Safin Website tonight and it stated : Age: 21 Marital Status: Married Now, that's not true is it?? Marat's a bit older than that and he's not married..I've been on heaps heaps of website's saying he's married blah blah blah and one even stated he's GOT KIDS!! WTF?? Where do they get this crap from!? This is a really stupid mesage but I felt like posting it coss those website's really annoy me!! lol PS I'm new to this forum so havent posted before there for this is a really lame message thingy I had nothing better lol.  xoxo Sydney |

Hi Sydney, welcome to the board! ;D Don't worry, it's happened a few times before  The worst was back in 2000, on the official Adidas website, they said Marat was 'married'! I think a lot of these incorrect 'married' status' have come from that one profile The kids one I can also explain *lol* Last year, (or was it the year before?) a really cheap and nasty Russian newspaper wrote an article that Marat had a 3yr old son in Siberia. Then they changed the story to a 3 yr old daughter in another remote area of Russia. (Possibly got it mixed up with Kafelnikov's young daughter? Or Tarpischev's little kids?) But they also said he was engaged to Kournikova, and going to leave tennis to become a rap star..... I think you get the picture! So don't worry about reading this garbage on the internet: it's usually posted by troublemakers with old search engines, or very very very gullible fans. ;D |
