I went to the Dubai Tennis Championships this week, and since Mr. Safin didn't play there I guess this is the right spot for a post about it. The tournament was A LOT of fun! Wonderful premises; a great, international audience; a very relaxed atmosphere; good weather; and the top 7 players in the world... Add to that a wonderful "tournament guide" (thank you sooooooo much for everything, Vassily  ) and you can imagine that I enjoyed myself immensely. ;D I posted some player photos on MTF: www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?p=6687630&posted=1#post6687630and www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?p=6687696&posted=1#post6687696 (this one for Richie-fans only  ) Let me give you some impressions of the Aviation Club where the tournament is held: The tickets (that one can't keep as souvenirs  ; they are collected in exchange of a wrist band - a different color each day)  The stadium inside and outside:    The small courts and the practice courts - the players really get their privacy here - you can't watch them train unless they chose one of the competition courts to do so:     Novak signing autographs after his match vs. Cilic:  And just for our Admin - King Mo on his chair ;D  |
