annie it's your answer! the name Alaoui is pretty much popular in Morocco, people who's second name is Alaoui are usually related from far or near to the royal moroccan family, their name as well is Alaoui. They are the reigning family for centuries now! :DAnd by the way even though I used my name for the character it's not really me! (you know, I think it's just a fantasy to hear the sentence"Dina I love you!"said by Marat!) ::)oh well! I think I'll see that movie, I'm being lazy lately about movies who don't make me cry a loooooooooot! :'(too emotionnal Dina! Oh, i see...LOL....silly me. Alya! You're welcome. It would be great if there will be another, just to tie up lose ends you know...but Giselle said there might not be one coz Matt seem not to want to do another one...but who knows, right? people can change their minds...you won't really know what's going to happen....

Okay, this movie might be hard to find - it's low budget, has no big stars and hasn't even started in most of Europe. I watched it at a film fest in Hamburg yesterday and can't recommend it enough: "The Lookout". The crime drama is centered around Chris (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a once promising high school athlete whose life is turned upside down following a tragic accident. Being partly mentally incapacitated, as he tries to maintain a normal life, he takes a job as a janitor at a bank where he ultimately finds himself caught up in a planned heist. Apart from an interesting plot and a real well-written script (you can tell the director started his career as a screen-writer), the movie sports some amazing actors. Backing up the absolutely brilliant Joseph Gordon-Levitt are Jeff Daniels as his sardonic blind room-mate, Isla Fisher as a former stripper and especially Matthew Goode (who played the British snob in "Match Point") as a wanna-be bank-robber. Please, go and watch it if you get the opportunity, it's definitely worth it.

So, it was on a film fest probably not on DVD yet then ... but will wait for it paitiently ;D

On a totally different note regarding films, I went to see "Ratatouille" yesterday (the child in me was begging for a treat LMAO). It's cute, the characters are well drawn in order to convey the feelings, but it lacks the "punch" and the more "adult wit" some other children movies have had in the past. It's good for 90m entertainement, and if that's what your looking for it's a nice movie. Couldn't help notice one quote near the end of the film where a food critic sums up the role of critics and their true importance when compared to the talents they criticize. Felt like clapping on that bit as it was so close to what my personal view of the professional critics in most areas (namely sport) is nowadays kisses

So I really love movies....my favourite is Amadeus by M.Forman, but I also like Amelie from Montmartre (or Fabuleux Destin d Amelie Poulain)....I watch films that have some good thoughts, or real stories I really enjoyed amateur and underground films...just dislike action movies...

Not a 'new' movie, but definetly worth it.. : 'Cold Mountain' with Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger (or sth like that). What a story.. what a man!

Agh. The end of Cold Mountain completely did my head in LoL. Almost as bad as the end of Vanilla Sky which completely made me bat s*** crazy.
I saw the Great Debaters the other day and *that* is a movie worth watching. It's a little bit brutally raw at times but it's definitely an inspiring story.
On a much fluffier note, I saw 27 Dresses with James Marsden and Katherine Heigel. It was a typical romantic comedy and not much more. If you're just looking for some light entertainment, it not bad at all.
