i'll start, the "0 reply " is kind of upsetting lol my coup de coeur of the moment is ( as i said in another thread ) : damien rice, the album is called "O" released on 2003 the gle sound of the album is damien's voice over an acoustic guitar ( various instruments though ) the lyrics r deeply heart-felt and everyone will be able to relate to them this album seems to be inspirated by damien's personal experiences, it is mainly about love, a very romantic trip

Nice thread, samara! I`m glad I`m the first to post here Let me think.... I have periods with music... I listen to the most eclectic music... Right now I`m going through a "bossa nova" period LOL... Not only classic, typical bossa, but more modern interpretations of it too... BTW, I ADORE Caetano Veloso! Such a sweet and sensual voice! Anyone who sings like he sings, plays the guitar like he plays the guitar, and writes what he writes must be a fascinating personality and a creative genius... EDIT: I`m not this "exquisite" to listen music all the time... ;D ;D I think Robbie Williams is the coolest pop singer......, seriously speaking... Hahaha I allways though he`s funny and he wants to entertain (which is the main characteristic of pop music, in my opinion), but on Monday he was interviewed live via satellite by Maradona (yes, the football/soccer player) for his TV show and I couldn´t stop laughing. ;D

Nice thread Samara ;D Well let's see. Like everyone else I seem to be going through phases with my musical tastes. However some singers and bands always have a place in my collection and keep a special place in me... One of these groups is Depeche Mode. I have been a fan since I was about 12 or 13, I absolutely adore what these guys do and they just released a new album, which I think is fantabulous! ;D The other group is INXS (God bless Michael Hutchence's soul), have most of the albums and looove them. Totally share Lau's infatuation with Robbie ;D I think he is soooooo cool and funny and I love what he does. Apart from that some songs pop out, which are really catchy and I keep mumbling them to myself all the time. This week my top 3 mumbling songs are: 1. Lonely No More - Rob Thomas 2. La Tortura - Shakira and Alejandro Sanz (Lau you should hear me singing this considering I don't know a word of Spanish LMAO ;D) 3. Join the revelator - Depeche Mode Great idea!!!!!

Brazilians speak Portuguese and I don´t understand it too (speacially when they sing... if they speak slowly I can understand a little) But Caetano is simply hypnotic for me... 2. La Tortura - Shakira and Alejandro Sanz (Lau you should hear me singing this considering I don't know a word of Spanish LMAO ;D) LMAO!!! I want to see that... That song I can´t stop singing it!!! Hahaha BTW, Shakira is the kind of music I listen LOUD, but I`m allways ashamed to say I like LOL... But everyone here knows I like Shakira, hahahaha And I never liked Alejandro Sanz.., but he looks kinda hot in that video, hahahaha

Oh by the way..Madonna...have you guys heard that new song of hers "Caught Up"? The one with ABBA's "Gimme gimme gimme" sample in it? Aparently ABBA guys never allowed anyone to use samples of their songs but they made an exception for Madonna because they deeply respect her work That song is kinda catchy..I think it will be on my mumbling list next week LOL

Its nice to know that you like Shakira, her music its not my favorite but she’s Colombian too, so I feel very very proud of that!!!!!!!! Annie maybe you sounds just like her singing La Tortura LOL!!!!! ;D (and btw I love INXS too, Michael couldn’t be never replaced)
Well I told you that I’ve grow up on a rockers house in the middle of the 80´s so I’m a huge fan of Hard Rock (singers with blond, long and messed up hair like Bon Jovi, Poison, Motley Crue, Warrant, etc), Grunge (Nirvana, Radiohead, Pearl Jam…) and all that kind of stuffs. Actually my fav. are Incubus, 3 doors down, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver and my beloved Lenny Kravitz. Opssss… ...of course my colombian boy JUANES!!!!!!!Que viva Colombia.
