Lately I have been caught up by Joss Stone's latest single "Tell Me 'bout It ". I'm usually not a great fan of blues/jazz styles but she has something that is catchy "One" by U2 is one of my all time favourites, and the version with Mary J. Blidge is out of this world. Lucky you guys that got to see them live !!! p.s.1 "Smile" by Lily Allen makes me smile everytime I hear it, because (weirdly enough) it always reminds me of Bercy It was playing on the sound system on the last day I was there and I couldn't take it out of my mind after that LOL. p.s.2 Another I personally like is a portuguese singer called David Fonseca. He has an amazing voice (and the fact that he is gorgeous doesn't hurt either ;D). The video for the song "Hold Still" is one of my favourites, all made of black and white photographs. If you're interested you can find the the link in my signature below.

ok, here I go.... I´m asking for suggestions for music to listen while exercising, hehe..., you know, for the gym. I usually do a lot a aerobic exercises in the gym (mostly bike and running machine). I need music to motivate me to do that LOL (I don´t usually listen to music while weight lifting ). Whatever..., the music I listen while exercising is not music I usually listen at home...., at least not when I´m not cleaning LMAO For example, right now, in the mp3 player I use in the gym I´ve got INXS, Cindy Lauper, Billy Idol, Madonna (80´music is great for the gym!!), Shakira, Destiny´s Child... and some vintage Peter Gabriel too... (before this list I used to have electronic music in it) Soooo..., I hear suggestions ;D ;D It has to be that music that makes you want to move, dance, etc, etc

Well for me the best music to exercise to or to jog to is always music of two kinds: rock tracks and dance tracks. I must admit that I don't anymore listen to dance music as such in everyday life but for me it's absolutely priceless during workouts. Chicane, Armand van Helden, Paul van Dyke and other dance tracks are very good for the mood. Scissor sisters, 80s music is very good, INXS, Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, some fast tracks of George Michael and Bryan Adams.... anything really ;D
Yesterday I went to see Cesaria Evora in concert. One and a half hours of pure pleasure. It's amazing that nowadays there is an old woman, who doesn't put up a show, who just gets out 8 musicians with their instruments, walks out on stage barefoot and manages to deliver the incredible beauty of her voice and incredible energy to everyone sitting in the concert hall. She smokes cigars on stage and acts really simple and shy. But she really moves you with that simplicity.
So of any of you have a teeny weeny affection for Latin music and Cesaria is heading your way - spare 90 minutes of your time and go look at what real live music should be like ;D

Yesterday for the first time in his career George Michael gave a concert in Moscow and I WAS THERE ;D ;D ;D It truly was a spectacular show!!! Apart from the fact that the man is looking more gorgeous than ever and a really magnificent setting of the stage I must take a huge bow to the guy for his professionalism The sound was awesome and he sounds so much more fantastic LIVE than he does on the records. He totally would up the crowd and in half an hour the whole Olimpiyski was jumping and singing ;D It was like I went 15 years back and was a teenager again. So much positive energy!!!! My hands were killing me from clapping, my feet - from dancing and my voice was gone but it was all sooooo worth it Truly spectacular show

Lau I listen to all kinds of stuff but I prefer listening to techno when it comes to exercise, it pumps me up, sometimes rock but mostly electronic, I like the records "subliminal winter sessions by Erick morillo volume 2" or Paul van Dyk, DJ tiesto. ...I also like "morcheeba" when I'm stretching before and after exercising, their music is great! Listen to them and let me know what u think.
