Just a random thing Was going through my CDs the other day and found a real oldie (I think it came out in 1997 or 1998) - Billie Myers "Growing Pains" CD.... "Kiss the Rain" is a real masterpiece of a song amongst with many others on that disc.... was a really great dig-out....highly recommended ;D ;D ;D

It was just a really great show and im so glad i had the opportunity to see them play live. My favourites where new years day ;D;D, pride, sunday bloody sunday ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D, one, beautiful day ;D ;D ;D ;D, city of blinding lights ;D ;D, yaweh, and vertigo ;D ;D ;D ... actually i cant pick favourites, but those performances really hit me!! and miss sarajevo ;D ;D ;D, i was curious to know how bono would tackle pavarotti's verse, and he did it so beautifully i was in awe throughout the whole song It was definately an emotional moment when he sang miss sarajevo, i was moved :-[ I want to get tickets for mondays concert but they would be sold out... scalpers might be around but the tickets will be snatched fast. thats my two cents i went a bit crazy with the smileys OMG OmG OMG is all I can say about U2 , what a fantastic night ...i saw them for their first concert in Australia (Brisbane) and they started with the crowd doing the mexican wave and because the stands were aluminium so when you moved your feet , stamping whatever it could be heard all around and I assure you there was plenty of stomping going on ;D They started with the City of Blinding Lights .....fantastically done Vertigo....Bono had the whole crowd waving their hands like sunflowers the crowd closet to the stage to see them do that was awesome... Elevation.... ;D Until The End of the World New Year's Day... Beautiful Day.... Yahweh Walk On.....How can he sing that good live? Sometimes Love and Peace...the best song of the night with the whole band coming out to the arms of the stage to play and the sound fantabulous... Sunday Bloody Sunday....another favourite Bullet The Blue Sky Miss Sarajevo....goose pimple time... Pride (In The Name of Love)....my favourite Where The Streets Have No Name One......mobile phone lighting time Zoo Station The Fly With or Without You The Saints Are Coming.....their new song.... Angel of Harlem Kite.....their new song Like love15 I was on a high for a week and was fortunate enough when I joined the U2 fan club to get a cd with some of their live performances, that included City of blinding, vertigo and several others, this is best heard as loud as your stereo can go and the goose bumps start all over again... all I can say and I will quote my brother in law " It was a historic moment" and i was fortunate enought to be there

Hey guys, how is everyone going? Just posting to say i went and saw Robbie Williams 'close encounter' tour last night at aussie stadium. I was not expecting on going but my mum suprised me with some tickets when i got back from my holiday! what can i say, Robbie is one unique guy, he is talented, the stage was awesome, lighting, fire, massive screens. He talked heaps, couldnt make out some of it though, had a go at elton and bono . Im not sure whether it was water he was drinking out of those small plastic cups LOL.. But yeah enjoyed it heaps ! advertising space was the best song, except it kind of got ruined when this woman exposed herself during the ballad wtf LOL

I want to recommand a couple of songs from my position of a newbie: the soundtrack of The Departed, especially Dropkick Murphys' 'Shipping up to Boston' and 'Comfortable Numb' - performed by Van Morrison, The Band, Roger Waters. The former is incredibly powerful with traditional Irish style mixed with a hard rock-like voice and the latter is a very beautiful song, just beautiful, nothing else - I'm guessing a cover on Pink Floyd's piece. They are exceptional both within the film and separately.

Oh we did it!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Lena (Mitya'sGirl) and I went to see "Reamonn" on concert last Thursday night in B2 club in Moscow. Oh we had the bestest time ever!!!! Was really really good. First of all the lead singer turned out to be much more goodlooking in real life ;D and secondly, LIVE they are even better than on CDs. They sang all their mega hits like "Star", "Tonight" and after my numerous requests LOL "Supergirl". Everyone sang along and the atmosphere was wonderful, it's not the same as at the stadium, I think I actually prefer this more intimate placing so to speak... I am glad Lena pursuaded me to go and bought us tickets ;D Really really enjoyed that

;D ;D It´s great to know you 2 had a good time So..., you´re a screamer in concerts too? LOL I have no idea if this should go to recommended movies or not ;D ;D , but I watched Woddy Allen´s "Sweet and Lowdown" and "Les Triplettes de Belleville" again this weekend, so after that I´ve been listening Django Reindhardt. What a guitarrist Don´t even try it if you don´t like classical jazz. BTW, the music of both movies is incredible too It makes me want to go back in time for some hours
