oh dear... i seem to have very differing tastes to y'all!! ???for instance i hadn't heard the james blunt song until it came on in the radio and i was in the shower so i couldn 't turn it off. when tellingmy boyfriend, i believe the phrase cruel and unusual punishment came up!! ;D and coldplay and u2 always seem to sound the same to me... its not that i dislike them, it is juts that they don't seem very varied to my ears... anyone for jeff buckley or radiohead?? (ok very depressing. i get it! ) or maybe some (gasp) punk??!! depeche mode. yeah, i can deal that!! jazz? anyone for jazz? van morrison? come on everyone loves van!! miles davis???

mackiemad sweetie ur tastes dont differ that much and it wouldn't be that bad if they did i'm totally in love with jeff buckley's music, his version of hallelujah is my fav and lover, u should have come over ....just great it might sound stupid but everytime i listen to his music i just think of how he died and it seems to me like he's u know that kind of ppl who were not meant to live long and who knew it somehow ok this is definitely stupid but it's how his music make me feel radiohead is an evidence for me just great van morrisson, i'm not a huge fan but "brown eyed girl " is one of my fav songs ever well it seems ur tastes r just the same as mine because i like jazz too, i'm not a specialist but i always listen to a jazz radio when i study seriously ( which doesn't happen that much ) anyone for jamie cullum ?? this guy is so so so cool twentysomething is so realistically nice

i love jamiroquai!! and jamie cullum. his version of lover, you should have come over is very nice, and i didn't think anyone could redo jeff well. so sad he died. and i would have to agree with you samara that he lived his life like he wasn't going to be around forever... and that hallujah is absolutley fabo. alsl - i don't download. i have a policy that if you aren't willing to pay for it then you shouldn't be able to listen to it. it is their living and also art. you wouldn't steal a painting, you shouldn't steal a piece of music. just my humble opinion... so i've had some success . i am going to go out on a limb... the ramones???

about downloading i think we've got a debate here u know things aren't that simple in some places u can't find "music to buy " , since most ppl can't afford it, i understand that nobody thinks of setting a music industry in such places( benefit is the priority ) but what am i supposed to do ? ok there's internet radio's, and satellite tv's but it is not enough so, i download from p2p's ; i can't even use legal download since we d'ont have credit cards here everytime i travel to europe i buy cd's but i can't do it that often ok i guess this souds like a disguised way to justify copyrights roberry, bit that's just how i feel about it i don't have any other choice tough i feel kind of guilty

mackie, the ramones? Great, classy ;D * singing .... ay, o, let´s go ... !!! ;D hey! it is history baby! come on, how can you not appreciate the people that invented punk?? it would be like not liking or appreaciating elvis-king of rock! plus they have that cool thing where they all changed thier name to ramone and i think their drummer was the first guy to commercially use double-kicks. i am prepared to be wrong but i think this is the case. so the lyrics aren't brain science, it is the music baby!! Annie: "Mackie re:jazz...yes baby!!!!!!! yes yes yes!!!!!!!!! Ella Fitzgerald baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong and Ray Charles......*takes a bow* I also listen to a lot of Russian jazz players like Igor Butman who is an incredible sax playes Radiohead's "Creep" is on my top 20 list..ALWAYS!!!!" yeah!! i listen to all of them. dad has all these old mad records. al jarreau? i think he is fabo, the way he scats, it's amazing! and ella armstrong, man her voice is just sexy! and the name Butman rings a bell. i'll ask dad next time i see him. and radiohead, personally paranoid android is one of my all time favs. i had creep stuck in my head dring my year 12 exams and the examiners thought i was made cos i was humming some degrogatory things about myself!!
