i know i'm late, sorry, i wasn't online. Sad, sad news... condoleances to all the families and friends of the victims... i've heard something on the radio this morning. They sad 2 planes crashed yesterday at night. I hope they made a mistake and wanted to speak about the planes that crashed the other night, i mean i hope there are no ther victims They also said that the Russian authorities now think the crash had nothing to do with Chechen rebels. They said it could be a problem with the fuel, that could be defective ...

This is definitely one of the most unfortunate things that happened this year. Peace to the souls lost, and to the souls of those who lost them...

It's a sad thought that these people do this partly because they get world-wide media coverage which allows them to place more leverage on governments.
Taking adults I can cope with, taking kids just drops these people to the level of scumvermin. This is not Islam at work, this is the work of some very, very twisted people who are actually in breach of Islam. The Qu'ran is very blunt in that you can not take the life of an innocent man, woman or child even in warfare.
It's a sad day for all of us.

They were saying that most of these people can't read so they just don't really know what's there in Koran. They've been told for many years that they have to kill enemies of Allah and they really do believe that stories . This is very sad

I saw some coverage today on BBC and its heartbreaking for me, I cannot even begin to imagine what the parents and relatives of those children, and the same for the adults - their children and relatives must all be going through. Went will it ever end, and there must be a message here somewhere, what are we missing, why can we not love our brother, sister, neighbour, why is there so much hatred?? Just pray that this can resolved with as little casuality as possible

The good news is that 32 hostages were released, babies, children and women, there is hope, but they still won't allow any water, food or medicine.

They're suspiscious about the food that the Russian authorities brought to them so they decided to give the hostages the food that was in the building already. But there are so many of them, the food won't last for long and i saw the babies who were released. Damn! some are only 6 months!

Yes, we heard it here too, which was great, but the other kids are all kindergarten kids, aren't they? 5-6 years old?
Mosques are not like your average Church. Mostly they are run independently by their resident Imam, and if he's the only one that can read he can twist the Qu'ran to any interpretation he likes. One of my closest friends is a Canadian Arab. She explained to me then what is actually in the Qu'ran on this stuff when the WTC was brought down in New York. Jihad actually refers to the battle within yourself to accept and embrace God and live your life according to the Qu'ran, it does not refer to going to war on religious grounds at all.
