My favourite Grand Slam obviously i am biased but it is the most prestigous tournament in the Tennis Calender due to its Heritage in the Game

I will be at Wimbledon for the 2 weeks again.

LMAO. Ye of little faith. He's back on his best surface, remember. I sat in Chester Cathedral and said a little prayer for the boy today - sometimes fairy dust ain't enough. The rain was hammering down in Livvie today, so I thought I'd take a day trip to Chester. Will endure the Livvie showers tomorrow with Aunty Denise and pray for some tennis ... Nadal will make Wimbledon decision on Friday

World No. 1 superstar Rafael Nadal will decide on Friday if he will defend his title at Wimbledon, which gets underway Monday at the All England Club.

Nadal is nursing some sore knees, which forced him to pull out of the grass- court Wimbledon tune-up event at London's Queen's Club last week.

On Thursday, Nadal played his first tennis since losing to Swede Robin Soderling in the fourth round at the French Open, where the Mallorcan was the reigning four-time champ.

The reigning Wimbledon and Australian Open titlist Nadal lost to former No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt 6-4, 6-3 in an exhibition match in London on Thursday. The Spaniard, playing without tape on his knees, appeared slower than usual at Hurlingham Club, a small private club by the River Thames.

Nadal's uncle and coach Toni Nadal said that the top-ranked stalwart's status for a Wimbledon defense in unclear.

The 23-year-old Nadal is scheduled to meet Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka in another exhibition bout on Friday.

Nadal upset the great Roger Federer in last year's epic Wimbledon finale, as the Spaniard prevented the Swiss from capturing a sixth straight title at the All England Club. Federer had beaten Nadal in the previous two Wimbledon finals.

Jessie who? Guess we need to assume he is a dangerous floater... Enjoyed an article in today's paper that the Big Yin had to borrow a shirt from Greg Rusedski before he could go on court. He turned up at the Hurly Club wearing a yellow outfit, not the regulation white (it coordinates better with the cucumber sandwiches). Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP, apparently got in unchallenged. Must have been wearing a white shirt ...

According to an official ruling posted on Wimby's official site, if seeds 1-4 withdraw before the OOP is posted on Sunday, then nr. 5 seed takes their place and nr. 17th seed takes nr. 5 place. All others remain where they are.
