From maratsafin.com August 2008 Marat News Marat pulled a muscle in his neck in the 1st game of the match against Fognini but continued hoping after treatment it would be ok. It wasn't and so he withdrew after he lost the 1st set 5.7. Marat has spent the last 3 days in Washington receiving treatment on his neck and it is feeling a lot easier but will continue resting before starting extensive practicing again. He is going to Vermont this weekend to do some fishing (one of his favourite other sports to relax) and then will travel to New York on Sunday to start practicing for the US Open. Fishing in Vermont, he's so cute... Hope he's enjoying this relaxation and comes to NY ready to WIN!!!

He mentioned he climbed mountains and went fishing while waiting for his wrist to fully recover. He likes serene places to relax and think. Hope he feels rejuvenated and refreshed after Vermont trip coming to NY !! Catch lots of fish and have a great time fishing, Maratik! ;D
