the draw looks a bit weird. cos youzhny, hrbaty and fish are ranked above benneteau....and he's 2nd seed ah well. draw might be wrong. but we''ll see

This must be it i guess...... Safin(1) Q Labadze Sargsian Q Carraz Elgin Llodra Fish(3) Hernych Martin Saulnier Bek Q Kunitsyn Davydenko Andreev Muller Clement Benneteau Mello Mirnyi Q Youzhny(4) Ferrer Stepanek Rosset Rusedski Matthieu Corretja Karlovic Hrbaty(2) so Hrbaty is second seed.. sounds more realistic than Benneteau

In one of the articles Marat has this to say about Peter Its all so positive and encouraging I really hope they will work together for sometime to come Also Maryann on Safinator said thay someone called yoyo referred to Peter as the 'Tennis Whisperer' and if any one has seen the movie 'The Horse Whisperer' this is a very clever term to describe Peter. I hope 'yoyo' wont mind if I referer to Peter in future as this

This is a tournament for Marat to lose. No one in the draw should come close to him. If he continues with the level of play from madrid, he'll win the tourney in straight set matches.

Vass I don't understand what you mean by 'This is a tournament for Marat to lose.'. You think he is going to lose or win?

I meant that if he doesn't win it's because of his own internal demons or bad play for some other reason. No one can tradionaly DEFEAT him in Spb.
C'mon Marat! you can win one more title, can't you?!

If only tennis was that predictable as Vass said... I think there are reasons why he might not win it: 1. Change of time and surface (from indoor hard to carpet) 2. Slight fatigue from winning Madrid. 3. St. Petersburg night life and feeling of celebration from winning Madrid.. 4. Mental approach.. something like do I want to give it all here or leave something for a bigger tournament like Paris Masters? 5. Marat feeling a little pressure as a clear cut favorite to win it..
I am sure there are other factors.. I also agree with you Vass, that he is THE favorite to win there but anything can happen...
