way to go Marat .
This would just be amazing if he could win this tournie.
On the other hand Federer did look enourmously good in his 2nd round match.
but as i believe Marat can beat anybody on HIS day.

here is a little report on Marat.
Third seed Marat Safin made it safely through to the quarter-finals with a 6-3 6-4 over Jiri Vanek.
But the Russian needed eight match points to end some late resistance from Vanek at the Impact Arena.
"It wasn't my day to close out the match," he said. "He was trying hard and didn't lose his opportunities. It was very close."
He also stated that he would look forward to a roddick clash next round
