Can some of you provide a little report on this match since most of us did not get to see it.. What happened in those tiebreaks? According to scores there were all one-sided... I really hope Marat is not going to have a let down after this one. He lost to second best player and should not be ashamed but he still needs to learn how to play tiebreaks.. If he would lose something like 6-8 or 8-10 is fine but losing first and third set as badly as he did.. What exactly happened? hey vlad. i've no idea what happened. but according to andrea, he missed lots of bp opportunities and roddick hardly had any. or DIDn't have any rather...cos marat was holding serve really easily.... so... problem now is.... MARAT VS TIEBREAKS and MARAT VS BREAKING SERVE

Unlucky Marat. i really really hate it when he loses in this kind of fashion. I also hate the official website of this tournament it is so slow and has no articles of the semi's yet when they finished about 5-6 hours ago

Hi pows,
I'm sorry that I can't sheer Marat to the Final. But I want you guys know that he played well today. His service games were reliable, if he went to the net, you quite sure that he could take that point. He placed the ball left and right, made Andy chasing around, smart play. Unluckily, he just lost his temper in tie-break of first and third set. Every time, he got angry, I tried to tell him to clam down and you know I think about this community hope our support can help him. And I think it worked for so many times. Anyway, I'm so proud of him and his performance. Andy's lucky today, but Marat's back in town. So Keep your eyes on him.

Marat has many unforced errors from forehand and I think that's the main reason for the loss. However, his backhand is great. Both players have a lot of aces and it's really a close match excluding the tiebreaks (either one made a lot of errors in each tiebreak. Strange. Marat behaved himself till down 0:5 in 3rd set tiebreak and he threw the racket. To me, it's already good control of temper by Marat the volcano .

Anyone of you noticed that Marat has lost some weight? I found him slimmer than before and that's good for his movement on court.

:'(sigh, really don't like "he lost his temper on the court", which maybe lead to his failure

Damn! I had to work all afternoon yesterday... and come today here to find out that he lost... ... well, no matter what, I think he's back, and that will kick some major ass on the next weeks (keeping my fingers crossed for Kremlin and specially Paris, cause I really like that one!!) Thanks everyone for your welcoming and for the photos!! (and I admit now that I like him WITH beard... so masculine... hmmm)
