Got my queue card 9661. Jeez, it'll be closer to 1pm before I get in. Giving ticket advice to this section of the queue ... They thought that they would be getting a centre court ticket. Queue virgins obviously. LMAO. Would be nice if you were willing to queue for hours that you would get a show court ticket.

Safin vs Seppi, tie break (third set) Wimbledon 08 video.aol.com/video-detail/safin-vs-seppi-tie-break-third-set-wimbledon-08/1850303825?icid=acvsv3Hi most96, welcome to tgfr! Thanks for coming with presents - the interview is the same I posted a bit earlier, BTW (really want his brown hoodie ). I'm sure the video of the whole match will appear on some torrent sites soon. It's also on my computer, but I guess that doesn't help you much, LOL If you are generally interested in downloading matches, register at www.t3nnis.tv It's a torrent site just for tennis matches and they have a lot of good stuff (newest the Safin-Djokovic match). I think they are open for new members at the moment. If not, I can hand out a few invitations (PM me if you want one). hi, and thank you for the idea, i wanted to register the site but i couldn't. and also i don't have torrent.

He has a cold? Lemsips will do the trick. He can mix it in with some fairy dust. He'll be ok for Monday - a weekend to rest, and potter in the garden.
My backside has gone numb. This section of the queue still hasn't moved. Pretty sunny today, but a bit windy.
I hate to say it, but my money's on Haas today. Prove me wrong Andy!

The queue has come to a shuddering halt outside the security area. This is a ridiculous wait to get in - been in the queue since 9.15am this morning. My whole life has flashed before me ... Very, very slowly. With any luck, I may be in by 2pm! The sun is burning my arms.

Still in the friggin' queue outside the grounds! Big Yin, next time you're having a mump about what's wrong with Wimbles, do me a big favour and query why they keep their fans in the queue for hours? There's babies and small kids sitting here getting distressed by the sun. I empathise. My arms are nipping now.

Hi Davis - I'm wondering why I put myself through this nonsense as well! That's me just got in the grounds - with some really nice third degree burns on the arms - and that was with sunblock on! Scots should never be allowed out in the sun! Well, I suppose living in Scotland, we don't!
Going to get some lunch and then I think I'll hide in the practice courts. Only place you can get some shade whilst watching some tennis.
There's still several thousand in the queue. It's the kids I feel sorry for. It really sticks in my throat that you queue for that length of time for a ground pass. Think I'll fire off a rant to the CEO. And I don't mean the Big Yin.

marry, my dear, from my limited wimbledon queing experience - I can tell you that it can be worse. Last year I was up at 3 am in the morning, caught the first train to London at 3.30-4 am (I live in Reading), caught the first tube at around 5ish and was finally in the queue at 6ish am....I wanted to see Fed, but unfortunatelly that was not enough; I actually only managed to get a court 2 ticket, not even court 1. I was in the grounds pretty soon after the gates opened, but that was not before 10 am anyway; still, it rained quite a lot that day, Marat was scheduled 3rd on court 2, but since he was supposed to start his match at around 7pm, he decided to play the next day and they moved some other match on court two....so yeah, I finally left Wimbledon at around 8pm and I could see there were quite a few people (and their tents) in the queue already for the next day!!!!
Anyway, you have fun today as well - Dinara is playing Peer at the moment and is not looking to sharp actually....lots of unforced errors; Peer is serving for the 1st set now.

queuing for a ground pass is horrible... you stay hours there... sometimes in the rain and feeling cold!! I remember last year when I woke up for 5 days at 3am, and I'd go to bed around midnight, after such a tiring day! I couldn't wait to take shower and go to bed.... At least this year the weather is good... last year it was rainy and way too cold!!! I remember I only had outfits for summer, and besides that, I'm brazilian... so not usude to that weather....But it was nice... seeing marat was worth it!

Hiding out now in my favourite haunt at the back of court 11. Always nice and quiet here. Dinara's still on. Quite a battle.
