Friday results so far: Federer d Gicquel 63 63 61 Hewitt d Bolelli 61 63 76 Verdasco d Berdych 64 64 60 really? Baghdatis d Stadler 76 64 62 Wawrinka d Zverev 75 61 ret Lopez d Reynolds 64 75 46 64 Ancic-Ferrer (been some good stuff ) and Marat-Seppi are still in progress -- it'll be a race as to how long light will last ... TV's actually doing a pretty good job of going back and forth between Marat-Seppi & Ancic-Ferrer, so whichever one isn't on TV is on my computer

Super Mario prevails in the faded light 64 64 67 76 over Ferrer!! Awesome, spectacular stuff in that match ... and Marat follows with a 76 36 76 64 win of his own!!!!!!!!! ;D ;Dand man, it was hard trying to watch Marat's match and Ancic-Ferrer at the same time ... what a nail-biting, fantastic end to the day ;D Wimby Live Commentators earlier: "weather's gotten cold, but the tennis is hot" LOL

other Friday musings: just a short rain delay today, which was good ... the "upset bug" - as the commentators here are calling it - was out again today with Ana losing as for Marat: kept close to Seppi in the first set - 4-5 point in the TB came the dive (hate when they do that, heart stops for a second) - his winner on the point after that was sweeeet ... 2nd set: I blink and it's 1-5 :/ (then he got one break back, maybe it's because I wasn't paying enough attention before, hahah) - but alas, the 2nd set wasn't to be ... prevails in a 3rd set TB ... and gets it in 4 as night sets in -- woot woot! Wimby Live Commentator Story: apparently some reporters met with Marat at the house he's renting this past Sunday, and when they got there, he was watering the garden -- they had a good laugh with that thought ;D Monday "Everybody Plays!" Day is shaping up to be pretty sweet ... Fed-Hewitt will be the pair's 21st (!) meeting (Fed leads 13-7, with Lleyton not getting a win since 2003) ... Baghdatis-Lopez, Verdasco-Ancic and Marat-Wawrinka But there's tomorrow before that, with some pretty appetizing match-ups too: Haas-Murray, Stepanek-Youzhny, Kiefer-Nadal

Jen... Zverev retired?? What happened?? not totally sure, I just know one time I switched to their court and Zverev was having a visit from the trainer ... got to checking on something else, next thing I know is they were done and weren't on the scoreboard anymore Unbelievable, though, that Ana lost. I saw her match as well - she sucked! I guess one of the Williams sisters will walk away with the titel now, but who knows... With all the various upsets, it seems like the women are paving the way for Venus and Serena and the guys are paving the way for Rafa and Fed (course there still could be surprises in store) ... it's just been shocking how and when everyone else has fallen away Never can tell what's gonna happen
