I do understand your frustrations and to be honest Mr. Perrotta's piece of writing didnt stir up a lot of positive emotions in my goodself but may I please remind you of the rules of this forum. We do not verbally abuse players, journalists, each other or any other people for that matter.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we must respect that. Some people like everyone on this forum love Marat, some don't. It is the truth of life so please stop calling Perrotta names. Thank you.
For that matter I also deleted the other thread syma had opened. Girls, try to control your emotions even though it is very hard sometimes. Just ignore it. This is not the first negative material we have read about Marat and unfortunately there will be many more

Oh-kay....i just got to reading that piece of Mr. Perrotta....i think he must've meant it to sound funny...but it just didn't deliver...at least on No. 10...the other 11 wishes, are amusing to say the least...but still didn't quite get my fancy.
But, like Annie said, everyone is entitled to their opinion. And there is such a thing as press freedom. Come to think of it, there have been worse writings from other people with regards to Marat, and I admit some could really blow your top off... But you know what, Marat probably doesn't even get to read half of of these stuff...and the half that he may have read...i bet, if i actually read him right, he probably just dismisses them. He won't care, it won't bother him. I wish, though, that he would consider these sort of things as sort of Constructive Criticism...and i do think that he's that kind of person.
Anyway, thanks for sharing the article Su...

Tennis-Russia recall Safin for Davis Cup tie v Serbia
MOSCOW, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Russia have recalled Marat Safin for next month's Davis Cup first-round tie against World Group newcomers Serbia.
Former world number one Safin skipped last year's final against the United States in Portland after struggling to find his top form since coming back from a knee injury.
"He's definitely in the team," Shamil Tarpishchev, who doubles as his country's Davis and Fed Cup captain, told Reuters on Monday from Israel, where the Russian women play the home side in the first round of the Fed Cup this weekend.
Joining Safin for the Feb. 8-10 clash at Moscow's Luzhniki arena are world number four Nikolay Davydenko, Dmitry Tursunov and Mikhail Youzhny, who has moved to a career-high eighth in the rankings after reaching the Australian Open quarter-finals.
Russia, who have won the cup twice since 2002 and reached last year's final, face a stern test against Serbia, led by newly-crowned Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic.
"It's definitely won't be a walk in the park for us as the Serbs have two Australian Open champions in their team," said Tarpishchev in reference to Djokovic and Nenad Zimonjic, who won the mixed doubles title in Melbourne.
