Marat got out his ring that lord of the ring.He has attached blue bead instead of ring.But women attach blue bead necklace in Turkey. That's okey! We believe in the evil eye so Marat doesn't be struck by the evil eye and he play tennis very well. I hope so! haha since luxsword asked ill be glad to tell about ballkidding gossip and all that stuff. hmm where to start. mostly all the players are very well mannered toward us. personally i think the qualifiers are the nicest because they're not as big headed as some of the more accomplished players. Fernando Gonzales is REAAAALLLY nice he helps the ballkids and makes our job easier by hitting the balls across. Marats really nice too, well i might be biased though! hah but he'll get the balls if its close to him and not just leave them there. Clement is the WORST that i've everrrr done. good thing he's not here this year but last year he purposely almost chucked a racquet at a ballkid because he was down and to me he talked to me rudely because i wasnt' throwing th eballs in the EXACT POINT omg so annoying..and he also wiped his privates and gave the towel to my ballkid friend she was so grossssssed out. Spadea is really cocky, it seems like he's all polite but he is a jerk! he throws the balls at our feet if he gets them for us and isn't nice at all!! Day 4: Night match vs Guccionei was so happy today cause today was marats first match! and at night which i was also signed up for. so today in the morning i was completely devasted that i had to go up to the courts away from the main site to do the last of the qualifying. i was going to miss all the action!! but then the supervisor said he would deefinitely repay us by giving us priority for stuff which i didnt understand. ok anywyas so i was up there all day doing qualifying and i couldn't see if marat was gonna come and practice! did all those sets and in between saw nalbandian, stepanek, booty and stretch, huss and auckland and some people practicing no marat though! and so after i had to walk all the way back down and sadly i found out marat already practiced in the morning so i missed him! i knew he was gonna come back so instead of wandering like we ballkids usually do i just sat there and waited.. haha cause i wanted him to sign my pillowcase with his picture on it (yes i have one of those too!  ) at around 5 he came with his coach and fitness trainer. he was wearing a Mia shirt (dont know what tha tis) and his hawaiian boardshorts (i love it when he wears those looks so cute to me!) and then asked him to sign it said goodluck and off he went. 30 minutes later he came out to practice/warmup for his match. he was wearing yellow shorts and his mia shirt. didn't play badly at all and didn't get angry either! a lot of people were watching because there were no matches going on. when he left he didnt sign or take pictures with anyone, probably cause he was about to play and stuff. oh yeah and today he was absolutely gorgeous! even more so then i saw him on saturday! and then i found out i was doing marats match! i was super excited i signed up for the net position which is where the ballkids run in the middle its the hardest position but you get to stand infront of the players and serve and stare at them during changeovers! i did first set and when marat came in with his sexy new black shirt and shorts i was shaking! thankgoodness he got rid of that green thing, he wore that for like.. half the year. marat played pretty well i dont remember much about the scores but i think he may have got broken on the first game? there was this one point where i was running to get the ball infront of his feet and he said like 5 times fast in his cute accent "leave it leave it leave it" haha eyah.. so hard to concentrate on scores and ballkidding when marats on court!! During changeovers was like heaven to me because Marat was like 5 feet away from me. i jus tstared at him and he would just look around and check his racquets. more then like 10 times our eyes met! and we had this one.. elongated stare haha i just about DIED. so he won that set pretty easy i thought i wouldnt have to come back for the 3rd set cause he'd win the 2nd just as easy! but that wasn't the case! marat los tthe first tiebreak and they were 1 all. even though it was almost 11 at night and i could have opted out of doing the last set and leave (i had to go home i live an hour away from the tournament) i decided to stay! so i did net again marat broke one racquet i was hoping to get it at the end of the match but he gave it to this black lady  oh well getting 2 racquets is too greedy hah. the tiebreaker was amazing, marat was pulling out amazing shots left and right! oh and i forog tto talk about guccione. guccione's serve is huge! most of the time marat blocked it back. yup thats about it for that night i was so exhausted! net position is the most tiring and i was about to cramp up towards the end! i got home at like 1 oclock and had to wake up at 630 for the next day! oh yeah and tommy came to watch marats match with his girlfriend.     sorry guys! youll have to turn your heads!   i only have one picture of me ballkidding cause noone could take it for me but that pics on my friends camera! so ill show it later!
Day 5: Round 1 stilltoday marat wasn't playing but i expected him to come later in the day to practice. i was put on the main stadium and was lucky enough to do the spadea match. he wasn't losing today so he wasn't as horrible, surprisingly after every ball he'd say "thank you" but it was still mean to me! i will never like him! umm haha not that this is funny or anything or whatever but spade puts a towel over his head after every changeover after he takes off his hat cause i think he wants to hide his baldspot yeah its pretty surprising that he has it pretty big too. i also watched igor kunitsyn's amazing match vs. nalby and i was so happy that igor won! he's so nice and gentle!! haha we all ballkids like his puppydog eyes. also did querrey/fish match. everyyear querrey has a big cheering section they're called his "SAMurais" they're his old school buddies and they bring gongs and stuff its so funny and they also paint there chests! in between i saw my absolute fantasy! marat and dmitry practicing together and and..wait for it.. wait forrrrrrrr ittttt.... both shirtless! i snapped a lot of pictures and they were in no rush because they both didnt have any matches...four people were sharing the court because theres only one practice court here.. robert kendrick and paul goldstein (he is so nice) were also practicing with them. a lot of people were around watching.. couldnt stay to watch them leave cause i had to ballkid. after left marat and dmitry did Paul goldstein's match vs. garcia, paul is so nice! during practice serves a ball bounced into the bamboo tree thing (its like right on the court for decoration, its the biggest nuissance in the world!) and he wanted it so i was trying to get it but garcia was serving towards my side and paul protected me! haha he's so nice! not much of marat today got pics though! a ballkid got a hug from him while i was ballkidding! haha i got so mad when she told me, im gonna ask tomorrow for one!     haha my pillow and the pic i took with him last year at the tournament i asked him to put my name cause yeah and i was happy he knew how to spell it! even though its pretty popularish  if only if theres no fence!  tomorrow marats playing at night and i'm assigned to do night bryan bros are before but i hope i get his first set!! ;D ;D i have a lot of pictures with players but i dont have time to put them up! so at the end of this week ill do all my pics of the ones other then the important ones that i've already posted! |

This sounds pretty familliar  ..... It happened in Hamburg as well... At one point he was yelling to the ballgirl, the second after it, he was flirting with her, giving winks .... But really, I've always wondered what ballkids do during the changeovers. I keep thinking, "So do they just stare at the player?" I wondered if it was allowed to opnely stare at the player because I see a few ballkids who stare ahead at the audience or something. LOL.
