i SAW THE Black Dahlia....didn't think it was worth it, I knew the ending right away...I though it was good because Brian De palma direct it...the shots and the actors are good but I didn't get engaged in the drama...too american 40's for my taste...The girl from "boys don't cry" Hilary Swank was great and Josh Harnett ok...Scarlet Johansson can be the pretiest girl in the world but she doesn't know how to act but I guess that doesn't matter in Hollywood.
The Devil wears Prada...Kinda same movie in different context, my favorite part is whne they but city of blinding lights form U2 at one point but the rest is ok but not great!

Really? Is it really good? I love James Ellroy and read plenty of his books and really sceptical about watching "The Black Dahlia", even though "LA Confidential" was a rather pleasant experience last time Oh well.. guess I'll never know until I actually see it myself, ey? Has anyone seen "The Devil Wears Prada" ? I read the book a while ago and had a good giggle and I adore Meryl Streep but as always a bit about going to see the movie Hi Annie, Saw Devil Wears Prada last weekend with some gay friends, don't recommend it for hubby, I am not suprised that Marats did not like it , I think it is a real girlie movie, If only to see Simon (OMG he is hunky ) Baker from "the Guardian and an actor who stars in Entourage (Adrian Grenier) Meryl Streep is fantastic, the genre however is nothing new Ugly duckling turns transforms into Swan. Anne Hathaway is breathtakingly beautiful

It has been out for a while now, but last week I finally got the chance to watch [glow=red,2,300]'The Motorcycle Diaries"[/glow] about the life changing journey of Ernesto 'Che' Agoura and his friend, around South America in the 1950's.
Their journey is deep, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be moved. The doco-cinematography conveys the story of these two parallel souls effortlessly. And by chance, what's a movie without a bit of eye candy along the way? (the gorgeous Gael Garcia Bernal, who is just so natural and so sincere in his portrayal of a younger Agoura, and what a smile!)

Have you seen the movie "Y tu mamá también"? It's originally spanish or latin american, I'm not quite sure... It's about two friends which go on road trip with a woman which is ill of cancer and wants to enjoy the short rest of her life. That includes slleping with the two guys who are some years younger than her - and that creates problems etc... And in this movie you can see Gael García Bernál and Diego Luna (who play the two boys) naked several times for example because they are really kind of crazy and jump around in the shower screaming and fighting playfully... Really funny movie and the Gael and Diego are a bit young but sooo sweet...

I watched the prestige a couple of weeks ago and it's SUPERB.The storyline sounds really lame on imdb but its actually quite complex.
its set in 1800s i think in England and that time people were really INTO magic tricks and they used to have magic shows and things. So there were these 2 magicians (hugh jackman and christian bale) start out as friends but a murder starts their feuding. And from there on they try to better each other. The end is really shocking tho...Just when you thought it was all bunnies and butterflies, something happens..
