Safin talked about "Match Point" ...that was a good movie (starting with the hotties in it) It really gave a grat twist, the guy was getting in more and more trouble, its certainly luck that got him out.

I just watched "United 93" and am horribly depressed now. The movie feels like a documentary of the events on 9/11. For those who don't know or don't remember: United 93 was the flight that got hijacked by Al-Kaida terrorists and crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The whole story of the plane hijacks and the eventual crashes unfolds pretty much in real time and I felt very helpless, having to watch a movie whose outcome I was very aware of. The director tries hard to never take anybody's side so the hijackers of United 93 are portrayed the same way as all the others passengers or the flight crew or the personnel of the air traffic controlls. Pretty bold move if you ask me, and one that pays off when watching the film. He also didn't use well-known actors which adds to the authenticity. Whether the last ten minutes of the film show actual events or not is rather unimportant in my opinion - they could be real that's all that matters. "United 93" shows a piece of contemporary history that shouldn't be forgotten, and it shows it without pathos or eager patriotism.
How some people criticised the movie as being too "boring" is beyond my understanding.
I'd be curious to hear other opinions on the film, I would recommend it as a must-see (not for a romantic first date, though).

theres another movie comming out with nick cage...about the world trade center, I personally don't like to watch those, to painful and making money from painful events its not a decent way to make money....i think if u wanna nver forget, then donate to the families and the kids that are orphans, but those movies are showing things that nobody knows for sure. I saw miami vice...besides the fact that hollywood again affirms that Colombians are again the largest producers, drstributers and sellers of every known drug i the world...the movie its ok...even though Colin's hair is a bit weird it looks good...
big big warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: the first pick up on the movie is Guajira....and they show this forest like place with cascades and amazonian jungle....NOT TRUE...GUAJIRA its in the coast and its a DESERT!!!!!! LIKE SAHARA!!! that just pissed me off right there, I was about to yell "ok yes colombians do it but can u please get the geography right! at least!!!!!" ok ok..i'll take it easy now.
That's all I have to say...please give me ur feedback if u saw the movie.

I think the Lake house will be sweet..cliche but sweet.DAMN JESSE JAMES FOR MARRYING SANDY!she should have galloped into the sunset with keanu..
Pirates of the Carribean is OFCOURSE my pick..seen it twice and counting already.the producers do something so unpredictable in the end u just wanna kill em.

Was sick in bed for 3 days so watched a few movies LOL ;D ;D ;D 1. "Firewall" - Harrison Ford and Paul Bettany. An ordinary thriller about computer technology and bank robberies. Normal alright entertainment with a happy end and tons of running, chasing, fighting and talking. Nothing extraordinary but if you wanna pass the time and let your brain rest - this is it 2. "The Wedding Date" - a romantic comedy with Deborah Messing (Grace from "Will and Grace") and Dermot Malroney. An ideal movie for a girl's night - absolutely wonderful giggle, sometimes hysterically funny, easy flowing and with an absolutely knockout of Dermot. Very sweet and funny. 200% good quality girlie fun ;D 3. "Munich" - Spielberg's film about the tragedy of the Munich Olympics. Truly enjoyed that. Serious and not-so jollie, but good quality cinema.

Really? Is it really good? I love James Ellroy and read plenty of his books and really sceptical about watching "The Black Dahlia", even though "LA Confidential" was a rather pleasant experience last time Oh well.. guess I'll never know until I actually see it myself, ey? Has anyone seen "The Devil Wears Prada" ? I read the book a while ago and had a good giggle and I adore Meryl Streep but as always a bit about going to see the movie

last movie i watched was Barnyard. it was lame, corny in few scenes, predictable and too crowded. Pixar animation/film still the best. 2/5 from me. The best movies this yr so far are crash and brokeback mountain for me.
