i seriously can't believe that france won. They have been playing so abominably but they pulled it off. I will say though, that i am thrilled for Zidane. This is his last tournament and he deserves to go out on top for everything that he's given to football.
I still think the French coach Domenech is an idiot though.

I have to agree with you girls. The referee lost the control of the gme but of course players had their part of responsabilities... As I said previously, that game annoyed me. Maniche's goal was great  sometimes he scores brilliant goals  Figo will play, C. Ronaldo is still in doubt, I hope he make it. About yesterday's matches, happy with Brasil but sad with Spain  But congratulations France! |

 WE WON!!! Sorry for Spain but we clearly deserved the victory yesterday. French team played very well....And Zizou...Ribery and Viera...woohoo...what a match!For once they played well. Domenech ..well he is a case. I still don't know why Pires,Micoud and Giuly aren't in the team.

Domenech ..well he is a case. I still don't know why Pires,Micoud and Giuly aren't in the team. I don't know about Micoud and Giuly but the story with Pires, from what I've heard around the sportsrooms where i work is that it is a purely personal thing having to do with an incident a few years back where Domench's significant other, the tv presenter Estelle Denis let her eyes wander a bit to a certain Mr. Pires...you figure it out. I don't know if this is the truth..i really hope not but that's the story going around. |
