yeah i did see the brawl...from what i understood, one of the argentine players kicked a german player, i think it was tim borowski and that's what started it all. Then Gabbie Heinze got involved and things just spiraled out of control.
Major props to my man Jens. The Gooner in me is very proud. And I got to say respect to Oliver Kahn, who is not exactly my favorite person BUT just before the penalty shootout despite all the tension that there has been between him and Lehmann, Kahn went over and spent a moment talking to Lehmann, encouraging him and I thought that was a very classy thing to do.

Am I allowed to be the onlyone sad here???  It was so sad.... Cambiasso  and to Abondazieri too..... and Juampi Sorin (I adore the guy!!!..., he´s allways working for Human Rights and is the rocker of the team  ) ..... and I supose that to the rest of the boys too..... except those ones I don´t like  Well done for Germany. If Argentina wants to win a match must do it during the 90 minutes...period. After that the crowd, tiredness, luck and pressure has got a bigger part. I guess we have to "come back to reality", after all.... Sorry..., I´m still too sad......  BTW, Heize is famous for his bad temper in the field.  I have no idea what happenned and I couldn´t be less interested in it, but there were discussions between Heinze (and/or other Arg. players) and German player/s at least from the first penalty. Our cameras showed that (argentine tv channels had cameras there, apart from the ones of the international broadcast). EDIT: Now that Arg. is out of the WC....  Give me some caipirinha, the verdeamarelo outfit and lets dance some zamba in Copacabana  |
