We don't even have the olympic team in football . I've told you that we're pathetic in this sport . And for some weird reason this sport is still no.1 in Poland

Hmm, the Irish Olympic team? Well, I'm not hoping for much unless Sonia O'Sullivan can do something special, but I'd doubt it, I think her chance was in Sydney. I can't really think of anyone one else but we do have a walker who is pretty ok Gillian O'Sullivan(again, what a popular name that is!!), so maybe she can do something but I'm not so sure. Hmm maybe horse-riding?

Does anyone know if Alexander Popov has retired? No Tatiana, Popov has not retired, I hope he'll do well in the 50 and 100 m freestyle! I don't know if he can win gold again but he became like the world champion last year if I'm not very mistaken.

YAY! I'm so happy to hear that! He's always going to be the World Champion for me because he's an excellent swimmer

I have an old friend going for his 4th Gold Medal in the same event, the Three Day Event. Andrew (Hoy) has a new horse, Mr Pracatan, and the whole team looks good. This is his 6th Olympics, now, and would have been the 7th had Moscow not been boycotted. Definitely cheering for Andrew !
Australia rates well in the swimming, a couple of track events including the marathon and the shooting.

No Andrew does the Three Day Event, which is Dressage, then Cross Country, then Show Jumping. Pretty much he does everything the hard way! LOL!
Swimming I find really boring. LOL! Sure, go Thorpey, but would much rather watch the Pentathlon or something like that.

Dressage is like doing figures in ice skating, just prettier! They wioll not show much of that in Andrew's event. Cross country is going across country over fences, steeplechasing. Showjumping you know! LOL!
