erm...to answer vass's question.
there are genes on the X that are not on the Y and vice versa. so if a male has certain characteristics that are found only on the X, then it was contributed by his mum. that's why u've got stuff like colour blindness occuring more often in guys.
and of course if a gene is Y linked, then it's passed down only to guys, from dads.
and if u're female, then the characteristic could have come from either mum or dad. hehe....

for the redheads out there, i saw quite a few over the last 3 weeks... big ones on bikes and little wee ones in prams..... but redheads allthe same... ;D oh...and cute too... |

Well guys I'm feeling left out. I'm a natural blonde it's been down to my waist forever seems like but my mom said she will kill me if I have it colored and I'm over 21. But don't want to get on mom's bad side. But I am getting it cut no matter what she says  Sorry mom. Anyway I don't see many redheads here in the US they spend every penny they have to be a blonde their hair looks like straw from all the damage from the dye or bleach or whatever they use. Another reason I wish I didn't live in the US. Home of the bleached blonde, silicone filled, plastic surgeon loving idiots. Can't stand them!!!!  |

I'm surprized you guys don't see redheads in USA. I've seen two in the last two times I went out of the house in UAE! Here most women have black hair and only europeans have anything else, and yet I saw two redheads...

I'm not sure where is the US you are from (California perhaps?), but where i live most people do not " spend every penny they have to be a blonde their hair looks like straw from all the damage from the dye or bleach" I don't know anyone with implants and the only people i know who have had plastic surgery are women who get breast reductions and people who have been in accidents. Geesh, if you hate living in the US so much then leave |

There is a whole family of redheads in my hometown (my hometown is 600 people). I had 3 or 4 redheads in my high school class of 67 people. They are around, just not in huge numbers. A few of my friends have actually died their hair red just because it makes them differant. |

No tall_one I don't live in California I live on the east coast. And where I come from I can't remember the last time I saw a redhead because like I said they have all dyed their hair blonde or sometimes they dye it black. I also live in a small town and the women go out looking for men with money to pay for their enhancements so in the cities it's worse. Don't know why they do it, don't care, but they do. I could tell you many stories about it but would take too long. And I said I wish I lived somewhere else, didn't say I hated it here. I love the giving my money to to IRS, I love getting robbed when I go to a large city and having my car hijacked. This has happened in Baltimore, New York, and a couple places in Florida and I refuse to even go to Washington,DC because of the murder rate. So yeah I do wish I lived somewhere else maybe you will feel the same when someone sticks a gun in your face and takes everything you own. May go to North Carolina or South Carolina anywhere but here, they may even have redheads there. Unless you've been in my shoes don't sit there and say well geesh just leave then...Have you been to Maryland lately? I stay on the eastern shore, where I have not seen any redheads just more violence and a bunch of women that, shall we say, want to improve what they have. End of story!!!

Hey tall_one you watching the Weather channel? Almost got my wish. Besides the flooding I just saw a tornado for the first time in my life!! They have not reported that part yet on the channel, just keep talking about flooding. It was around 6:15 est. time and it past within 15 miles of my house, I was scared as hell!!! Didn't see any redheads flying by but I saw things I will NEVER forget. Almost got to make my move out of here. Holy shit another storm coming, gotta go |
