Well there are some fans who've dyed their hair red... and there might be some redheads who read this and don't post (I know there's a large number of people who visit this board and don't post... so hi to them  !) But as far as I know, we're the only natural redheads who post here ;D Would love to get my hands on those encyclopedias... that's going on my Christmas list!!  ;D |

Redheads Rule!
I am not a redhead, but I think they are quite beautiful. I am a brunette, very dark hair, almost black black! It would be no use to dye it though, I hate root upkeep!
Isn't Marat's hair reddish? It looks as such sometimes, hmmmm.....

I can tell redheads are pretty funny people!! At least 'me' is! ;D You go girl! And I have a friend with red hair and he's a really joking guy! I dont know if it's a haircolour thing.. but it's nice anyway! Fact is a lot of people dye their hair any sort of red, so they're all just jealous at you!! ;)Caroline |

ohlala! that is so cool!! I'm red hair too! but it is not natural! I dyed my hair red because it is the most beautiful colour! and people notice my hair colour because it is not come on. I am a hair coiffeur and i can tell you that not a lot of people have red hair. I am not ashamed of it, although lots of people say that people with red hair smell bad and everything but it is false!! i love my hair colour now i was blond before it was too bitchy but now in red i am not bitchy anymore at all!!!!!

THE future is bleak for the Irish colleen say experts this week – with
the extinction of redheads in 100 years.
Ireland's 320,000 natural redheads are the last of a dying breed
according to scientists who say in a special report this week that too
few people are now carrying the red hair gene for it to survive.
Ireland, because it has one of the highest percentage of redheads per
head of population in the world, will prove to be the last place in
the world to have redheads.
Red hair, say scientists in a report by the Oxford Hair Foundation, is
in retreat because a maximum of just 4% of the world's population
carry the gene.
Because the gene is recessive, it is diluted whenever carriers of the
gene have children with people who have the stronger brown hair gene.
Dr. John Gray of the Oxford Hair Foundation said black and brown
haired people are wiping out the red hair gene.
"The way things are going red hair will either be extremely rare or
extinct by the end of the century," he said
