Well, Teresa found the link on new Russian F1 team's presentation (Alex Schneider the Russian-born businessman bought the Jordan Team and whatever, I'm not interested) in Moscow. I won't translate the whole thing - it says Marat apearing there with Dasha, Zhenya and some other friends created a furore and Ecclestone ran to greet him so the group of the gents in the 1st pic was created. Fetisov is the Minister of sport in Russia for ppl who don't know. Marat stood out as the tallest person as the F1 ppl are usually a lot smaller, Marat couldn't get into the cockpit of F 1. It also says that Marat & Dasha drank only non-alcoholic beverages this evening. I'm not gonna translate the all Russian-specific stuff. Just the last note - the last pic's sig says Zhenya is reading the latest anecdotes to Dasha and Marat. (So that's why she's laughing so hard). I dont think that that is dasha. i doesnt look like her. actually it looks like one of the girls in the photo gf section. doesnt it?

i just checked the gf photo section. i think thats Polina Yumasheva. they have been confused before too.  |

Maria, yes I know you hate the 'yellow stuff', so I appreciate your translating and posting not only for myself for but the other members. Had a good laugh at the bit about him not been able to fit into the cockpit/drivers seat!! Much appreciated. I don't know where Dasha was ,but as discussed on other sites it is believed to be Polina Deripaska. The 2nd photo may look like Dasha but it isn't.
Polina Deripaska is married to a billionaire and she is the daughter of Yelsin's cheif of staff.
I don't think her and Marat where there together, but who knows what goes on in Russians rich circles!

Excuse me, I don't want to start a discussion here but the article says he was there with DASHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope ppl who can read in Russian will confirm this.
That's all I'm gonna say on this. About the last photo - I translated what the sig said and I also think this is Dasha. If you think you're so much smarter than me then go ahead! I have better things to do than have some stupid discussion here. Bye!

No need to get prickly MariaV. I was only going by what I had read!!
We know some Russian papers can get it wrong. But maybe since you are smarter than me ,you could translate the article on the daily RU to say Marat and Dasha are getting married

I don't know whether the article saids they are actually getting married ,but this paper cam make things up.

ok this is question for everyone. does anybody know where i can find new pics of dasha? like ones from the AO? i tryed finding some but the ones that i kept finding were the ones that are on this website an not really recent ones! maybe someone who speaks russian would be able to search her in russian cuz i wasnt able to find pics of her in english. the reason why im asking is because i really liked her makeup and hair at the AO and im going to important kinda fancy party and wanted to see if i could do something similar to myself. her makeup was natural but still cute so thank you in advance!!! |
