u know what...i started to like this dasha u know..bcoz she's different from other women(generaly speaking of wife/gf male tennis players)...she might not as pretty as hewitt's fiancee but her face always look very sincere n she got the brain too!!!~~~ ;D ;D ;D that's why i like her so much now...u go girl I think Dasha is much prettier than Hewitt's fiance... she seems classier, more intelligent and very deserving of our beautiful Marat ;D Thanks Ruth for the pics

Haven't been on this board in a while. So after reading every single post since I left, and reading the TGFR website (well done Ruth!) and from what I know I've formulated my own opinion.
READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! THESE ARE MY OPINIONS! I DON''T CARE WHETHER OR NOT YOU AGREE WITH THEM, JUST DON'T TOTALLY JUMP ON THEM AND ATTACK! On the Lleyton Hewitt GF thing: If this did happen, which it probably did, I think that Marat was really put on the spot when Hewitt went to present his loser's speech and thanked his GF. I am kinda, I dunno - disturbed, that Marat would talk about someone else's girlfriend more than his. Even if you were really private, don't you think that you owe it to Dasha, after her supporting you all those (2) years, to at least give her more than a sentence?
I've never really liked Dasha, or understood her, but this is my way of being sympathetic.
On the picture thing on TGFR: I agree and disagree. I agree that Marat was tired after having played a Championship match, done a press conference. But I do think that even if you had played a 5 setter you would still have been crazy happy! I mean look at Gaudio, that guy was crazy after. Maybe be a little more estatic after a GS win! I'd think that he'd also be a ton more happier with 'the love of his life' with him. If you loved someone, wouldn't you be happy that they were there with you?
Dasha: As for what she said about the 'no one's replacing me'. I kinda feel like their relationship had hit that really rocky point, where Marat was travelling and she was partying. They took a breather, and she staked her claim. I don't feel that they really are 'in love'. They don't seem to have that 'I can't spend a day without you, I think about you all the time' feel to it. I'm not saying that it's got to be passion 24/7, but there just isn't that feeling.
Marat: I don't care how old he is, he's still pretty immature. And that's one of the reasons a lot of people like him. I don't think that he's ready at all for a major commitment, because he doesn't know what he wants. He parties one day, and says he wants a family the next. He says that he's getting older and wiser. You don't have to be older to be wiser. I just think that he needs to know what he wants from life.

I totally agree with you Ivy. You said the same thing I basically said. They don't seem "that join to the hip" anymore like they were the beginning of last year!
