I found a few glasses of wine during, and after, the match helped to forget Miami ... also, when I went to bed ... what time the match finished ... LOL. My tolerance level for wine has dipped dramatically over the years. I thought my Big Pixie played brilliantly. His lack of big match play recently got into his mind. It won't happen again. He now knows what level of play he's capable of ... and that he needs to keep focused, and not undermine how far he's come.
Miami is in the past. No point in dwelling on it - other than for me to check out some of those net approaches.
Whataboy, he's listening to his FG at last! LMAO.

yes yes... the wine does help. LOL! I guess I just saw this one as such a big opportunity that he let get away. Who knows how many more there will be this year. I really hope the loss doesn't effect his self confidence. He did play well and I wish he had another chance here.. Oh well, to Monte Carlo I guess! By the way, does anyone know if he is still in Miami?

First Semi-Final: Federer vs. Djokovic. Nice one! ;D BTW: If Novak loses against Roger and Andy Murray happens to win Miami, then they will swap rankings... Does ur ATP bracket challenge predict a Novak loss and a Murray win. Ive got a Rogerio and Rafa final!

Why can't they put the women's matches on AFTER the men's? I'm gonna miss Andy's match tonight as I have to be up early tomorrow for a meeting ... then again, priorities. ;D FG PS The weather here was on a par with Miami today ... well, it was approaching 60degrees. Not bad. The thermals are now being cast off ... shut your eyes.

Got to see the end of JMDP-Rafa -- Wow! JMDP pulled it off: 64 36 76, 3 hours, 4th MP, coming from 0-3 down in the 3rd set (!) Impressive! On the other end of the spectrum: Murray's steam roll of Verdasco 61 62 (snooze)

Not very many Marat pictures from Miami … ton from IW to come, I swear Marat after Hernandez win (Friday) Marat (Sunday) – seats faced the corner the players entered on, so when I saw a yellow shirt coming, I knew it was Marat, but then, wait – yellow shirt’s wearing a hat? Who’s that? LOL Looked like he had no hair under the hat … Because there wasn’t! Miami Album: sports.webshots.com/album/570764780qAgaCW(not as many as IW, therefore quicker to put up ;D)

Roger broke his racket!!!! The threw his waterbottle!! He kept yelling at himself! And all that didn't help - he lost to Novak in 3 sets. ;D Lousy match by Maestro. 47 UEs, 4 DFs, bad 1st serve percentage. Novak didn't even have to play great to beat him. I guess Roger has some serious evaluating to do. ROGER smashing the racket harder than Marat

OMG how disturbing/intriguing to see Roger smashing his raquet! and he made a better job of destroying it than Marat has recently...have we entered a parallel dimension?

LMAO. I'm just coming back from a day freezing my butt off at a Partick Thistle footie match - a 1-1 draw - to see Maestro looking like a junior Safin, perhaps without the racquet-smashing finesse...LOL. It MUST be a parallel universe - my Big Pixie is cool, calm and collected recently, and Maestro is losing the plot. Who'd have thought it? I think Maestro needs to get a coach. He MUST beat the Sampras record.
My fingers are crossed for an Andy title ...
