 An ugly win but a win is a win for our Maratski - but again the good ol classic mental walkabout in the 2nd set Next up is Gael Monfils who Marat has never beaten they've played twice in the US - Marat losing in straight sets both times! Well be a very tuch match for our munchkin which we can predict may be played on Sunday! Marat and PHM will play the Aussie pair of Huss and Fischer in the doubles! |

I'm in heaven, just got back. I will post pics next week gotta go to work. he looked great. Had a haircut after the match. Those on my facebook can c the pics and there are more to come. if he wins on sunday, i will try to c him tuesday but we know the chances of sunday already. Hes in a really good mood apparently surrounded by great people. I'm so happy 4 him....

Tut tut Giselle, he has the same chance as Monfils, and we should all surround him too 'in cyberspace' with support. Our Big Yin is relaxed and positive in his game. We've all waited a long time for this, let's back it up with optimism that he can do it.I believe that he's gonna have some good results this year, and he needs a mass 'fairy vibe' from everyone before he heads off into the sunset ... with a blonde. Just got in after 4 hours of hard labour in the garden. I can't bend ... great, first really sore back of the new season. ;D
Just checked the scores. Robredo v Dent is at 4-5 in the first set. My Big Pixie may not appear on court for possibly another hour if they keep playing like this ... Match likely to be shown on SKY Eurosport Extra coverage - possiby 'red' button option.
Ok Big Yin, go for it. No mumping about the breeze, it's just fairy breath. So don't be hitting too close to the lines - or we could be in trouble. Another reason why the volleying at the net would be useful ... LOL. ;D

Seeing Safin with the cap reminds me of his early days , lets hope he can play like it.
