This tourney is definitely highly recommended -- it is ridiculously beautiful out here -- can't get enough of it! The mountain views that surround the entire grounds continue to amaze me, even after 3 days. Early end today, after two very long days, and to prepare for tomorrow's very long day. Definitely scorching in the sun, but there's enough breeze (and spots to take a break in the shade) -- cools off quickly after the sun goes down, though. Has been soooo much fun .... even after day 1 life was VERY good -- got to see the four players that were still on my must-see list: Fed, Rafa, Novak, and (of course) Marat -- all in one day! Plenty to report on -- and TONS of pictures (and video) -- that I will get up when I get home next week.

Just got back from a weekend in Perth and hoped to see the Big Yin on SKY tonight ... not if it's 2am. Any livestreams? Willing to get the flask at the ready ...
FG
PS Sounds like the girls are having a great time. Enjoy. ;D

Edit: Does everybody on Stadium 2 has to go to tiebreaks?!? First Fish vs Chardy and now Del Potro and Sweeting as well. If this goes on, Marat will play way past 3am

Cheers for the tips. The boy has a women's match on before him ... it'll be anywhere between a 2am and 4am start then ... night night. Think I'll grab a few hours and get up at 2am.

6-3 7-6 ;D Well done Big Yin. Good solid display - convert more of those break points though! Nice to see you on a court looking like a) you want to be there and b) you want to win. ;D
Go get some rest. That means no clubbing.
FG
I can get back to bed now ...

Mary, Marat must have received your expressed fairy dust . ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Jen and Annette must be very happy. Well, he did give us some heart attack in the 2nd set. But since he resumed his composure during tiebreaker, I just forgive him. Can't wait for the interviews, reports and photos. ;D
