hm, why is he No 75 here? Because he was ranked # 75 at the time of the entry deadline (June 23rd). The seeding will happen according to the ranking of July 28, so he'll be seeded as # 38. |

I hope he isn't playing his first match in the middle of the night on Monday ... I've got a presentation to do to the senior management team first thing on Tuesday ...  I need to be perky in case I get questioned! The Big Yin's taken up yoga as part of my anger mangement programme. Bending his leg behind his neck has turned him into a calm, flexible, relaxed, big Russian. Don't know how he can get round the court on one leg though ... ;D |

Somebody has to warn Marat about that Dani girl in LA who has a pass and collects inside gossips to post it in the blog. It seems her LA target will be Marat. It's getting not so funny. |

Please let's not start digging into her stories and add to her (or his?) blogs's popularity....it's just pure, 100% speculation - nobody knows who she is (and I wouldn't be surprised if she's a dude, really) and who her sources are. the trouble is that this Dani person seems to be either press or staff, because she has accreditations and stays in official hotels. That's the trouble about her. She's an insider who wants to find out everything about Marat's private life, and bribes people (drivers, tournament staff, hotel staff) in order to get that information.
And I do think Marat would care if they spy on him and reveal it all freshly to hungry teenagers.
Saying he is a "player" and has his "share of fun" is different from saying he's f*cking everybody plus hookers and talks about it to everybody he meets in great detail. That's what Dani claims.
I think even Marat would not want that.

There is no trouble about her: she is nobody and will stay nobody unless we give her credit and start listening to her rants - she's just a random person writing a blog - any of us could do that, just by putting together stuff we read on various forums and by inventing stories as well. Also, I don't think she has anything in particular with Marat: she wrote about a lot of players, not only about him. |
