... he went to the net 43 times! ...and ONLY 36 UE!? 43 times!!??!! LMAO Big Yin. That's more net approaches in one match than in the whole of 2007!!! Keep it up. We're on the march for Wimbles. ;D PS Get rid of the 36 UEs though ... please tell me the 36 UE weren't all at the net though? LMAO. Well done by the way. It was a win. Might not have been pretty, but a win nonetheless. Stop looking for perfection. It doesn't exist. Another PS Check out the mountain thread. The boys are on the summit march ...

Results from today. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 Singles - First Round [1] N Davydenko (RUS) d J Tsonga (FRA) 76(0) 62 [4] P Mathieu (FRA) d S Grosjean (FRA) 62 62 [5] [WC] M Safin (RUS) d [Q] D Matsukevitch (RUS) 76(2) 75 [7] D Tursunov (RUS) d [Q] M Zverev (GER) 64 36 64 M Berrer (GER) d J Acasuso (ARG) 67(5) 75 64 [WC] I Kunitsyn (RUS) d D Hartfield (ARG) 76(1) 16 61 [Q] M Cilic (CRO) d S Bolelli (ITA) 63 64 K Vliegen (BEL) d [Q] V Troicki (SRB) 63 22 ret. (foot) N Lapentti (ECU) d F Santoro (FRA) 36 63 62 Igor Andreev and Nicolas Mahut play tomorrow so Marat's next single's match will be Thursday. Only 36 UE? They seemed more... I must need glasses, either that or I'm not used to see him play on TV anymore, which considering the few chances I got over the year isn't surprising. Thank God for the livestreams! He didn't play good, but didn't play awful either. Started well but then seemed to freeze when he couldn't convert the BP. The 1st serve % is still low but I've seen worse in some matches this year. It was good to see him go for the backhand so much. At least it appears he is trying to bring back his old game. Played closer to the baseline too than he had been doing in the past. All in all a win is a win and after 4 weeks off I wasn't expecting much so doing it in 2 sets only is a good thing.
