I retract most of last night's rant.  Apologies Big Yin. Bad day at work ... and hormonal. The double whammy, and you got it. Had I been in a better frame of my mind, the point I would have been making was don't lose the plot and go down on yourself. You still have the talent - but you need to believe that. I hate the racquet throwing in a close match - it puts you out of kilter and the concentration goes. Usually in a mtach if you've kept the heid, you should have won. Take a break, and if it means hanging around Club Hell, do it (but not too close to a match pet). Go fishing this weekend. It'll cheer you up and you can reflect. Thanks for the pics everyone  ! Couldn't log in for a few days for some mysterious reasons.. I just kept trying.. now I'm back again hehe  ! Marat, Marat.. I watched the match. Yes, in points it was close but he wasn't convincing enough. I think he still got the game, but he doesn't believe in himself. That's, in my opinion, the whole point. Hopefully he can work on that. Andreev lost to Davydenko, unfortunately, with 57 57  ! Well, I guess it's for sure that Davydenko will win the tournament. At least that's what I guess and hope. Then at least it's a Russian! ;D ;DYEAAAH Marat and Dmitry are in the FINAL!!! Marat's first final of the year guys! And again it's in Moscow  ;D!! They beated Tsonga and Grosjean with 76 64! Ooh, I just watched the match and OMG Marat gave us so many killer smiles.. ;D |

How exciting was that?!!?! Would be great if DiMarat
could win the final and Marat could get that winning feeling back again, even if it is doubles... what a star! ;D

I wish (fairy wish) that the Big Yin would play more doubles. It relaxes him to be on court with somebody else - and he works harder as he doesn't want to let the side down (think of Davis Cup). Fairy fingers crossed for a successful doubles title. They play well together.
How/why does he looks so tired in the singles match? It looks like a different person from only a day or so before where he looks so refreshed?

I agree on both counts - I was thinking he looked more tired in his singles match than when he arrived back from his mountain jaunt...I wish he could lift the pressure off his shoulders when he plays singles. Maybe he'll play doubles with Tursunov at Madrid and Paris (don't know if Mitya will be there though) to help the team gel.
