Aww, the big yin lost. But it went to 3 sets. Well done on reaching a final. Keep it up. PS Sonya - I had a look at google images for 'jockstrap'. LOL. ;D ;D ;D Is no 19 Marat in the kitchen doing the washing up? (Where's Annie - is she standing outside the kitchen window?) The less said about no 5 the better. Made my eyes water. With laughter. Jeez, it almost put me off my dinner.

Maratik It was so great to see him play in a final after Halle 2005. And he didn´t lose in straight sets. For sure I was hoping that he will win in Moscow to end this terrible year with something positive ( besides Davis Cup ;D). I hope this final give him a confidence boost for Madrid. Good luck dear[img src="http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys2/080402gudl_prv[1].gif"]

Sorry Annie, I know this is off the thread - but I need to thank Sonya for drawing my attention to google images. I'm still in jockstraps. There's a pic of a greyhound wearing one on page 3. I need to go lie down. I can't stop crying. ;D Think I'll read the big yin's blog first. No doubt there'll be more tears of laughter. God bless you Sonya.

For me the last important thing is that he lost today. I think Marat has a lot of reasons to celebrate and I'm partying anyway ;D

Can I just say thank you? To everyone on this board? There has been nothing but positive energy here even though he lost. ;D ;D And if i was feeling sad right after the match was over, you all have put me to rights again. This was a great tournament for him and another step forward. Well done Marat

Yeah I'm glad to see smiles all around. This has been such a great tournament, raised his ranking and built up his confidence some more. And to be honest I really like the idea of marat using his bowl for cerial or something. The imagery is too funny! ^_^ Yeah my priorities are messed up, but at least I have a good time.
