This is going to be so much FUN!!! At least until Marat gets knocked out, which I'm thinking, might not be so early. I just love early rounds of a grand slam. I'm taking the whole week off (I work at home anyway) to watch watch watch.
Thanks for all the info on the draws. And Ra, I'm going goofy over your pics of depants Marat, but I'll survive. I am really diggin the curls too.

The men’s doubles is seeded entirely according to the ATP Entry Ranking. odd that the don't use the grass formula for the doubles too  |

Phew...just went through 3 pages of seedings discussions..thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great read!!!! Sooooo...draw comes out today, huh?  Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! oh this will be soooooooo much fun!!!!!! I love Wimby!!! ;D However I just hope the players I want to watch play in the evening. England is 3 hrs behind Moscow, so during morning matches I'll still be at work....hellooooooooo scoreboard  Re: playing the guessing game with Nadal being out...I say he'll be out in the second round Okay....get ready for a mega draw discussion everyone!!!! |

shacks, a little question... IF Rafael and Roger wins the matches until semifinal... will they meet in the semi?? Or we`ll have to wait until the draw to know that? sorry i couldn't answer yesterday (i'm having some problems with my internet connection at home)!!!  But tall_one is right, as also states the ATP article. We have to wait for the draw! |

From Wimbledon site: Most of the top seeds avoided the 'dangerous floaters' of the draw, including Greg Rusedski and Queen's runner-up Ivo Karlovic, although Australian Open champion Marat Safin faces a tough opening match against Paradorn Srichaphan in the first round and could meet Mark Philippoussis - a runner-up at Wimbledon in 2003 - in the second.
More soon. Well, there is some good news about Marat playing Philippoussis. John McEnroe has been training with Mark to get him in shape for grass and McEnroe said Mark is not fit enough to play at the same level as everyone else. I hope McEnroe is right. |
