I keep remembering all these little things Marat did during the exhibition, which were so Marat-esque. At one point, Justine served long (barely) and Marat went up to show the mark. He pointed to the line, but then held hands very far apart and just shook his head. Another time, he hit a return with his head instead of his racquet. Also, when they went to switch sides, the other players walked around the net and Marat walked up and just stepped over it. What is so amusing is that these things probably wouldn’t even be that funny if other players did them, but with Marat and his mannerisms/facial expressions, you can’t help but smile. Ok, it is after one in the morning and I’ve had a long day. I am going to go to sleep a very contented fan.

OMG, Kristin.....thank for all your reports. and i totally agree with you when you say when Marat does something even f its not funny you just can't help but smile...but if other players did it, there's no reaction or emotion...  and Lau, thanks for the articles and photos...you are a gift! |

It took me a while, but I surfed the support forums for proboards and found out what to do. Apparently it's a glitch they nicknamed the 'woobug' but they are currently upgrading the servers to V4 and the woobug has been eliminated. They are only up to servers 20-27 though, and we're server 28, so we'll have to wait a bit longer...
But Tournament Threads is back in all it's glory, kids!! YAY!!!
Modified to say >> We can continue using this RG thread for now (RG thread 2) - I'll lock the other, so people don't start posting there again. Otherwise it gets too confusing and redundant.

jewell do you know who Sela is? yeah his name is dudi sela, he is from israel, ranked quite low.but i think does okay on clay because he beat ramon delgado in the qualifiers. anyway federer has beaten him 6-1 6-4 6-0 |

thank you so much for the report, kristin! i saw him strut at the beginning of the match on tv and started to strut like he did in the living room ;D

jewell do you know who Sela is? lol he is a newbie, this is his very 1st atp main draw event. poor guy, what a way to start. although he actually did pretty well, i watched part of the match. Federer just seemed off, lucked out that he was playing some nobody & not a good clayballer |
