The 18-year-old sensation lost serve only once and broke four times to post the win in two hours, 55 minutes of high quality tennis from both players.

Ferrero kept on fighting but lost his serve at 0-1 and Nadal held on to win 6-3 to close out the victory.
With the win, Nadal wins the fifth All-Spanish final in Barcelona and also his career fifth. He has a perfect 5-0 record in clay court finals (5-2 overall)
Nadal claims his fourth title of the in 2005 (third against countrymen), second only to Roger Federer's five. With the win, t he 18-year-old Mallorca native has a 35-6 match record on the season, including an ATP-best 25-2 on clay and ties Federer for ATP's overall best (35).
The new top 10 (since semifinals) advances to the 7 th position in the INDESIT ATP Entry Ranking and will be Spain's new No. 1 overtaking Carlos Moya.
At 18 years, 10 months, he will be the youngest player to break the Top 10 since Andrei Medvedev (18 years, 9 months) on June 7, 1993. He will also be the first left-hander in the Top 10 since Marcelo Rios on Apr. 17, 2000.
Teenage Title Winners in Open Era
Rafael Nadal joined an impressive list of teenage winners with his fifth career ATP title on Sunday. Of the previous 15 players to win at least five titles as a teenager, 10 of them went on to rank No. 1 :
Bjorn Borg 16 Mats Wilander 13 Boris Becker 12 Andre Agassi 10 Andrei Medvedev 8 Lleyton Hewitt 7 Michael Chang 6 Jimmy Arias 5 Jimmy Connors 5 Stefan Edberg 5 John McEnroe 5 Rafael Nadal 5 Yannick Noah 5 Guill. Perez-Roldan 5 Andy Roddick 5 Pete Sampras 5
Nadal: “I'm very happy. I'll be seventh next week in the ATP INDESIT Entry Ranking. I didn't missed much in the important points and played very aggressive. I found some winners in the second set, which helped to win a very important tie-break in the second set.”
On what's next: “I'll keep being humble and working hard. Is important not to be satisfied and keep improving. I'm not playing this week, I'm taking three days off and will start preparing hard again.
On being one the favorite for Roland Garros: “Those that get to Roland Garros in better condition will be the favorites. I don't know how I'm going to by then. For now, my priority is Rome and Hamburg, which are very important events since they are ATP Masters Series and then I'll how things are heading into Paris.”
On feeling pressure from the media: “I'm thankful to everybody for all the attention and support throughout the week, but I don't think about it. I'm only 18 and the important thing for me is to enjoy being on the tennis court.”
Ferrero: “I had my opportunities in the second set when I was up 3-1. It was tough to lose it in a tie-break because I felt I was dominating some rallies with my crosscourt forehand. I kept on fighting but he doesn't miss much and doesn't give you a break. I missed some chances.”
“I'm satisfied with the week. I'm gaining a lot of confidence. I feel like I made a lot of improvement since Valencia and I know I could play with anyone. I'm feeling very good with my backhand and can still improve a lot.”

I figured Nadal would win, too. That has to be one of the biggest trophies on the tour. And Nadal's arms....good lord, he's gonna bust if they get any bigger.
